"what form of mental retardation is caused by an extra y chromosome"
i was about to buzz in and say "down syndrome" which may i state is CORRECT when another kid buzzes in and says proudly and says
autism
GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!
the other thing i will say is real quick, i am taking a break from my book and working on a different one called "the aspie & the dragon"

PAMIDA MAY BE A CRUMMY STORE BUT I LOVE IT FOR NOW... WHOOOHOOO!!!!! posted at 08:32 pm on 02-18-2007
sorry i havent entered anything for a while, nothing really to talk aobut. i havent made much proggress on my book rescently, but every bit counts, right?
but there are more interesting things to talk about:
the weekend before the current one we went to a motorcycle show and had a blast! what was really fun was a resturant up in called "DICKS LAST RESORT" where they do jokes on you and stuff, and there are very few rules, and nirodic is normal, and it is still family friendly. it was hilarious. here are some of the jokes:
they make these paper hats and write jokes on them, they put one on me that said "barbie is my life" (something unusual for a guy)
they put ~35 straws in my cup, which is managable because every drink, alchoholic or not is served in a beer mug
our waiter stole peoples jackets and wore them around, he would go for girl ones, but he would return them before the people left
they throw napkins at you, and you throw more at other people
if you tip them well, before you leave they point to you and shout "they aren't goin to hell like the lot of ya's
it's set up like it's real crummy as a joke, they serve food in tin buckets, they have butcher paper for placemats, and you sit in big park benches in a row that are written on and carved on all over
in the end, it was hilarious...
last week was GREAT, my mind was sore because of short weekends and large piles of homework (several projects at once and atleast 3 other homeworks assignments a day! <:,( ) for the past month, then came winter's second snow storm, first, 1-3 inches, then 2-5, 58, 8-12, 12-15 inches was the final forcast before they declared blizzard '07. this was monday, which was called off for presidents day, it started around 8pm that night.... WHOOPYYYYYY!!!!! school was cancelled for EVERY DAY UP TILL FRIDAY!!! we had school friday ONLY!!!!!!! and boy was it refreshing! it cant really be explained but i really needed it, i like school alot, infact, i LOVE school, but they really push ya, it scares me at the thought of what college will be like, it's a long way away, but still! YIKES!
this weekend, however, was the best! for christmas, like alot of kids what i really wanted was a wii, and like a lot of kids, i didn't get one, but my parents told me they tried really hard to get one, and that they are still getting me one, just not this second. so i waited, we checked everytime we went to wal-mart, best buy, toys r us, everywhere, whenever we saw a wii in the ads, we called the store to see if they still had them, all in vein. i would always end up torchering myself by the gaming section staring at the display wii, or the spot where it should be, hoping it would some how magically appear there. this weekend i had to pick up some posterboard for a project in health class, we have to make a poster on a communicable or non-communicable disease/disorder, i chose AS. anyway, so we went down to pamida for the first time in like the past year or so, and got the posterboard, and while my parents were gettin' some other stuff i went down to the gaming area, not neccesarialy to look for wii, but to look at DS games, since i have a DS lite... while i was looking i saw a few white boxes, perplexed i went to see what it was...
I GOT A NINTENDO WII!!! and the new zelda game!!!!
i spent almost all of the weekend playing my wii, so yeah, gotta go now, dinner time, and there is extreme makeover home edition episode on and its a new one with 5 kids with autism, 1 with AS.
BYE!

WHOOOOO!!!!!! posted at 09:04 pm on 01-28-2007
today was interesting, i am including what happened yesterday too. today i sat at home and was on the computer all day, i am now on page 34 but i am about to start the next chapter, chapter 3 is 11 pages long!!!!! today i made a chart of book ideas, i will be adding summaries of the books later, if i include the one i have already written, that's seven books. that would be $700 to get all the isbn's, but i think i can do it, besides, i am working on editing my already published book so it can get an isbn, so it's really $600 dollars. i will show you the chart and the ideas and stuff. my favorite idea will be written after the one i am working on now will be a fictional story i probably will call "the aspie and the dragon" i will probably talk more about it later.

STUFF FROM TODAY posted at 09:38 pm on 01-20-2007
today was an iteresting day today. i am yet to work on my book today, i may not today either, trying to make sure i don't flip out, start crying like a baby because i miss my parents, but i will be seeing them tomorrow. today we went and saw the movie "persuit of happyness" it was VERY good! the reason happieness is spelled wrong is because the daycare the main character dropped his son off at was in chinatown had a building next to it had a door with some stuff painted on it, and happieness was mispelled, it also has the F word painted on it. right now, i am watching "lady in the water" it is freaky and i don't like it. i am just watching it because my aunt and uncle are. i'm gonna go upstairs and play computer with my cousin! talk to you later!

I WROTE THAT!!!!! posted at 07:24 pm on 01-19-2007
i am sitting at my cousin's house right now. i have finished writing for the day. my roboreptile is scaring th living daylights out of my aunt and uncles dog and cat, it's HILARIOUS! even if it's kinda mean, they are more wanting to play with it than scared.
you know where, you are writing and you get really into it? and when you finish, you are like "i wrote this? this is amazing! who typed this?! me?! no i didn't! whoever did, NEEDS TO LEAVE MY COMPUTER ALONE!!!" well this just happened to me, tell me what you think:
I think it was kind of silly of me to want to keep my asperger’s out of my life, that’s like pretending to be someone you are not. I hadn’t realized it yet, but AS wasn’t what I was, it wasn’t a label some brain doctor slapped on my forehead or something. It was me, AS is as much as a personality as it is a PDD, or a ASD, or a neurological disorder, autism, whatever you want to call it. AS doesn’t have to mean that you are unable to see social cues, make friends, figure out why something is funny, or any other symptom that you could apply to real life problems aspies face every day. AS can be about being the blue thumb in a sea of green ones. AS can be about “marching out of time”, thinking in a way no other person in the room can. Albert Einstein, a fellow aspie himself once said (and I may be paraphrasing) “we cannot solve a problem by thinking the same way we did when we created it.”
kind of weird. i am doing fine away from home, talk to you later! SQUIER

quotable quotes of quotieness away from homeness posted at 09:33 pm on 01-18-2007
like i said in my last entry, i would not be working on my book today. i did not. however i will be working on it for upwards of 3 hours tomorrow. it's not to make up for not working on it today-ish
tomorrow, i will be riding in the car to chicago to visit relatives while my parents are going to wisconsin for the weekend. i am a little scared, it's really hard, being away from my parents and all, every other time i have tried this, i flipped out. (once while in south dakota for 2 weeks while my parents went to europe, and once on a boy scout's conoe/bicycle/zipline, and for me, /car ride since some kid broke my bike's wheel over the weekend) but i am sure that i can do this, besides, my aunt got me a $40 gift card for christmas to b&n, but she said i can only use it while i was visiting this coming weekend on a shopping trip ( which is weird because me being a DUDE, i usually dont go on 'shopping trips')
instead of talking about my progress, i will be giving quotes that remind me of AS, or quotes i quoted from myself from my book. *blushes* here they are.
"if normal people were snails, then people like me would be clams, same snott like center, just a different shell"-me
"if A equals sucess, then the equation to life is A=X+Y+Z, x equals work, y equals play, and z equals keep your mouth shut"-ALBERT EINSTIEN
"my passoinate sense of social justice and social responsibility has always contrasted oddly with my pronounced lack of need of direct contact with other human beings and human communities"-A. EINSTIEN
"the desire to know is natural to good men"Leonardo Da Vinci
if i have seen farther [than other people], it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants"-Isaac Newton
"if only i had known, i would have been a locksmith" Einstien
not much more to talk about today. i can fill you in on more tomorrow. see you at my cousin's house!!!!

not much on the topic of my book. one kid at school said he wants to buy a copy. i finished chapter 2 and started chapter 3. i am page 26. i will not be working on my book tomorrow, i have my laptop packed for when i go to chicago to visit relatives, we are leaving friday. this is not related to my book, but i will talk about it anyway. i found a cafepress site that sells aspie stuff, it's COOL!!!! things i like:
messenger bag that says AS
a shirt that says "Warning: may be laquacious, declamatory, prolix, multiloquint, pedantic, pleonastic, verbose, sesquipedalian, voluble, wordy, and generaly run off at the mouth
ti=-shirt "a.d.d is short for attention defis... HEY LOOK! A BUG!"
shirt "ASPIE RULES: don't feed the aspie, he doesn't want what you are eating anyway; dont make too much noise; don't expect any eye contact, don't chit chat, don't worry if he flaps or rocks, it's not a problem really
t-shirt "i'm not rude, hyper, shy or bad, i have ASPERGER'S what's your excuse
t-shirt: (shows a world with stick figures standing around it) ASPIES UNITE!!! oh, right, like were gonna hold hands
those are just the ones on the first page out of 30!, i just found them, not much going on right now otherwise. in my next entry, tomorow, i plan on just putting some lines in my first book in here that i like. since i won't be doing any writing, i will do my journal on my computer instead of my mom's friday through sunday. my aunt and uncle have wireless. IT ROCKS!!!!. talk to you all tommorow.

starting my blog over posted at 08:14 pm on 01-16-2007
okay, so i deleted all of my previous blogs, i am having a theme this time... As some of you know, i am an author. ( you can get a copy of my only book so far at http://www.lulu.com/content/563801 ) this is to follow my 'career' as an author ( i put it like '...' because it's not a career, since i am only 12 and self published) my parents got my first book, "through my eyes: a life with autism", published for me for christmas, an unusual (and AWSOME present) present that i really appreciated. they told me that to have it in stores, we would have to buy an ISBN, which costs about $100... and when we got one, we would need to edit the book design a bit. i finally convinced my parents to get an ISBN for me a few days ago ( two major thinks we need to change about my book is that the title will be "a life with asperger's" instead of autism, and my picture in the about the authour will be different), since i decided to start saving up to buy a 'wowee flytech' which will be released april for around $50, it's like a robosapien, but it's a dragonfly. i am now starting my next book. originally, i was going to title it "coloring outside the lines" but i later found that the title was already taken. i am now titling it "marching out of time how i learned to cope with asperger's" so far i am on page 15, chapter 2, thats about all i have to say.
i will either give updates on my progress here or give a preveiw on a portion of my book that i finished just then and particularly like. see you later
