WHY IS SOCIALIZING SO HARD?

I have always had difficulty socializing with my peers. It wasn't until i found out i had Aspergeer's that it all made sense. Now i understand there is a reason i have trouble engaging in conversations. Small talk is not easy because i have trouble staying on the topic of discussion. At times i feel alone because of my lack to socialize correctly.
