700 Channels and not a friggin' thing on.

Yeah I'm exaggerating. I just sometimes wish I can cancel part of my digital subscription but then it would mean losing a few channels I may want to watch.
The OnDemand service is available here in my area, but I still don't think about it even though some programs may be available for free that I may want to watch.

I have Freeview in the UK, A plastic box for around £40 nowadays and you get digital tv(clearer pic and sound) a few more channels with no monthly fee's.
TV channel and DAB radio stations through your tv..

They add more and more, the only ones I usally bother with are:

sky news (It may be a crap world, but it lets me lol at the morons who are in it)
Men & Moters (fast cars and bikes, and the odd slap stick prog, good fun)
FTN (a fave of mine - same as MM without the cars)
BBC channels: 1,2 and 3(usally 3, can't miss little britain and classic brit comedy)
ITV/channel 3 (can't miss corrie)
Channel 4 (usally good for the documentrys and softcore porn)
channel 5 (only when they have progs like: was hitler gay?, no seriously, that was on one night)

Peace!!

Directv claims to have several hundred but they count channels that are not used, or are used as premium sports slots and PPV. It's actually closer to the 60 range of actual channels to watch at any time.

How many TV channels do you have access to where you live? I don't have pay TV, so I only get five channels: ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation, not American Broadcasting Company), Seven, Nine, Ten and SBS (Special Broadcasting Service). I also sometimes get a community station called C31 but it doesn't always work in my area.
