Whoops, I actually have 171. I guess thats a lot.

I've got a grand total of seventeen, and I really don't talk to the vast majority of those people especially often.

I have 22 friends. Somehow all the people I was in 8th grade and half of 9th grade found me, but most of the people I went to high school with didn't. I don't think I friended anyone, I got friended by others.

I think I have seven or eight friends. Only one is from my school.

In case that didn't give it away, I have a facebook as well. Send me a PM if you want to add me and I'll most likely add you back. Smile

I have over 200 friends now. Of course, a lot of them are casual acquaintances, and a few are characters (Bob Barker, Pee-Wee Herman, Wembley the Fraggle, etc.). But yeah, to say the least, I'm not hesiatant to add people.

I dunno why some people are questionable about those who have more than like 50 friends. Not everyone who has more than 50 friends are crazy folk who will friend random people even if they dont know them. I only have a few of these type because they friended me and they had interesting reasons for doing so.

I went to a high school with a student population of almost 4000 and I was involved in several major clubs so I got to meet and befriend people often. Same with college. I failed to maintain alot of those friendships that I made in high school so I was very hesitant about friending them in facebook. Eventually I decided to friend these people again and a lot of them accepted. I have almost 120 friends right now. Something I wasnt expecting myself to achieve.

Now if someone just randomly friends you and you find that they have about over 500 friends and/or theyre only friending you to make their friends list bigger. That's when you need to be suspicious.

I have to agree with above posts about facebook.com. I love how I can learn things about people without talking to them. Also, it allowed me to find their AIM screennames and keep up with what's happening with them. Most of my friends are from my college and I have few from high school and some friends I've not seen since elementary school. (I've moved around the country some so I lose contact with people I know!!!) Also, I love the whole group part of it because its nice to know that I'm not the only one into somethings. So, if you want to add me as a friend, just email me and I'll give you my real name.

Yes... a lot of people who I went to high school with asked to add me randomly, so I just decided that it wouldn't hurt. It is a nice way to keep an eye on how people are doing and to keep in touch at an acquaintance level. However, only a few of the people who are on my Facebook friends list are people who I have chosen to keep in touch with.
