Asperger's is just a subset of autism in my book. So all Aspies are Auties. I've heard "Spectrumite" thrown around. Maybe we need new nicknames. Suggestions?

Dx'd aspie back when I was 11 (1991). I still think though that with the aspie functioning level, per se, there's really two things going on in parallel all umbrella grouped as AS - those are true Asperger's Syndrome (ie. the little professor, literal thinker) vs. ultra-HFA which are like milder versions of LFA's much.

I tend to think that with a lot of people here who seem more neurotypical by personality and emotional preferences, don't really obsess much, but who have more neurological issues like sensitivities, more physical social impediments (ie. their body won't do what the mind wants it to do fully), and who have sensorty gating problems or synesthaesia - that's what I'd consider ultra-HFA and that's really what I'd consider myself as well as a lot of other people here.
