My hair has broken many a comb. It's long, black, corse, thick enough for beauticians to charge me extra.....and nappy. Its texture is a cross between sheep's wool and steel wool before my futile attempts to straighten it. Not even a chemical relaxer would tame it. Or at least, the one that might have gave me chemical burns before it had time to process the hair.
I guess it's as stubborn as I am. _________________ "There is difference and there is power. And who holds the power decides the meaning of the difference." --June Jordan |

I am vain about my hair.
It's very thick, coarse yet silky, shiny and naturally dark blonde. Same color as a gold Crayola crayon.
Right now it's in a shoulder-length layered cut.
It has been black, brown, purple, blue, red, and pink in the past. _________________ "The selfishness of the activist can only be understood by the selfishness of the artist." - Sarah Dougher, "What She'd Trade" |

dirty blond. Alas, for I have been losing it bit by bit for the past three or so years
It does not conform to any attempts to coerce it into a particular shape or consistency. It embodies rebellion and I fear it for this reason

Currently hideously frizzy... Not happy hair! _________________ If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music he hears, however measured or far away.

That's a bit harsh. Paris Hilton isn't that bad. |

long, really really dark brown, extremely thick, and pretty much straight except it can get wavy @ times. i don't worry too much about my hair, i'm pretty happy w/ it cuz it isn't impossible to deal with... don't care enough to blow dry it at least. ooh but if i sleep w/ it in a bun then i get really pretty waves |

It also takes over an hour to comb through it and I can't really use a brush because it breaks the hair. whats your hair like?? |
Dark Copper shade of red and straight. |

My hair is dark brown, fairly short, always tied back and slightly wavy. It is also very thick and tangles easily, and has a strange tint from practically living in a chlorinated body of water. _________________ Itaque incipet.

Me? I only live in the chlorinated pool for a couple of hours a day... nothing too crazy! And since my hair is dark, it doesn't turn green... sadly. _________________ Itaque incipet.

Seems like there are a few redheads here.
Mine is not naturally straight as my pic shows. I was desperate to have something done to it, the frizz was driving me crazy, it always looked like it needed brushing.
I got it chemically straightened but even that wasn't strong enought for my hair, so I still have to use the straightening irons on it.
There is a process called bonding which apparently straightens even the curliest hair, but it would cost almost a thousand dollars to have my hair treated. |

That's awesome. One of my friends is a swimmer and he has really textured hair. It's really red though, so it doesn't turn green, sadly...
wouldn't it be cool to have green hair? |

Mine hair is very straight, but quite thick. I need hair cream to keep it down |
