...Does NOT shave at all? Why or why not?

I don't shave my armpits or legs anymore, because I'm trying out my natural side.

I don't shave my legs in the winter and only do one pass of waxing in the summer anymore.

Under the arms I still shave because the bacteria has more of a hold when I don't. So I shave under my arms because I can't take the stench if I don't.

your mileage may vary.

I never shave. I never really occured to me. I tried it once, and I found it felt weird on my legs and they felt colder even through I naturally don't have that much hair but it still felt weird. I don't really like to show my body so I don't think it matters at all if I shave or don't.

I usually don't shave.

a) my skin is way too sensitive to keep it up.

b) It doesn't bother me, and I never think about doing it unless someone finds out and tries to make me feel bad. For that reason alone, I reject the idea right now.

I only like hair on the eyebrows and head and eyelashes. The rest has to go...the few hair anywhere, the better. The only problem is that you can't find a decent salon to do a Brasilian Wax anywhere in USA. I am from Romania and it is easy there, they know how to do a wax job well. I hate (and I rarely use the word hate), I HATE shaving. I love waxing. Also, men go crazy for a naked venus...so it's all good. OOOPS, I hope that the venus refference will not piss off some moderator...I almost wanted to say vagina, we are women only I hope... Smile

I don't shave except for my armpits (I don't want to increase the surface area for deodorant). Not only is shaving a waste of time, but it looks unnatural.
I can understand the need for some light trimming in the bikini zone, but I can't fathom why anyone would want to get a brazilian wax.

Me too. I did use silkymits on my legs and the hair has thinned out a lot but I will not shave under my arms or pluck my eyebrows. Plucked eyebrows look too obvious unless they are expertly done and most ones I see aren't too well done.

I also cannot see the point of Brazilian waxes and think it is about time swimwear manufacturers make swimmers that aren't so abbreviated that a lot of hair will hang out. I could not let somebody touch me down there to do a Brazilian wax, especially when it hurts so much. I like my hairs just the way they are.

The Brasilian style preference is a culture thing, sometimes. Arabic women are completely bare down under, too. I just love the lack of hair...that's my preference. It is funny how American men talk about foreign women down in US and I heard so many jokes, like oh...foreign women let their hair grow like bushes etc. they don't have the slightest idea that it is not a general thing. It is just pesonal preference, that's all.

Almost never anywhere. Rare occasions shaved legs ( like a dozen times in 26 years of adulthood), even more rarely my bits, and never armpits nor eyebrows.
I don't show much skin either, like Asymptotes, even in summer. Partly cos don't shave!! But also cos very quickly feel unpleasantly "naked"/revealed/defenceless if show more than ankles and feet, lower arms, etc!
Though has something to do with fitness aswell, not so much because of what body looks like so much as how strongly and safely and solidly i feel in my body when am fit/exercising. Somehow exercising makes me feel more secure in my body, less vague physically, and so don't mind showing whole arm, or lots more leg, etc.

Cool

i recently trimmed my armpits with electric clippers for some dumb reason and totally regretted it....it's growing back..but nah...i generally don't shave anything anywhere...I like it that way...

I remember getting lectured about shaving in school...(around the same time I was singled out and lectured for not wearing a bra at the right time)

I used to date a guy (from my teens into my early 20's) who would bully me for not shaving and tease me when I did it wrong.....even though I hated it..thought it was unnatural....was not very good at it and so on......then I saw a European girl at a rock show who's underarms were not shaven and it looked so cool...and I realised that my instincts were correct...I don't need to shave.....

I stopped in my early 20's and have seldom even thought about it

I do my legs and underarms if there's any possiblity of them being seen - I have such dark, thick hair that there's just no way I could not. I am awful at it though and usually manage to cut myself. I also do my eyebrows because I really like the difference it makes to my face. If I find myself feeling really unattractive its usually because I've not bothered doing my eyebrows. Once I've sorted them out I feel much better.

I have a serious, serious problem with the whole brazilian thing. Not only is it painful and bloody expensive to get done professionally, I would also find it extremely degrading to have someone do that to me. And then i would get stubble!!! Horrible! I've decided that any boyfriend can like it or lump it.

I don't shave at all. I used to shave my armpits, but I stopped because it was too much trouble. And I've never shaved anywhere else.
