| I know some people think its a juvenile interest but I like wrestling. I was wondering if there was any wrestlers with AS who wanted to talk about how it is wrestling with AS or just some other people who enjoy wrestling as much as I do |

yea I've been recently watching TNA myself. I got tired of the over the top storylines in WWE I guess I like to disillusion myself into thinking its more then a soap oprea and the x division stars in TNA are so physically gifted. |

The competitive aspect is fake. We know that they decide who is going to win and who is going to lose. But the strength and skill required perform these matches (i.e lift a 250 pound guy over your head and slam him down or to execute one of those flying acrobatic jumps off a turnbuckle) is very real. So are they superb athletes like baseball or football players? You bet they are. _________________ Not by revolution but through evolution are all things accomplished in permanency.

yes but somehow I like to disillusion myself I hate finishers that take too long. I like high flying spots although I know they are initated by both wrestlers. Thats why I like the indys so much and ring of honor. I know most matches are staged but its so unique and fun to watch something like the canadian destroyer and believe its an acutal competition. Too bad because of what wrestling moves can do to the body it'll never happen. _________________ Illustrious is it to have many virtues, but a hard lot ; and many a one hath gone into the wilderness and killed himself, because he was weary of being the battle and battlefield of virtues Thus Spoke Zarathustra by Friederich Nietzsche

I've been watching pro wrestling since I was a little kid, truthfully though I am sick of all the back stage politics and hollywood script writers who know not a thing about pro wrestling, this cancer that has invaded pro wrestling mainstream. Theyr wrecking pro wrestling's credibility. I mean watch a WWE show, hell a ppv, they've got entire segments wasted on "diva dodge ball" and stupid crap like that
ROH (Ring Of Honor), that is where it's at today, it's like today's ECW revolution, a slight bit too big to be called an indie but not yet big enough to be a mainstream company. So I'd call them a super indie. Match quality is better, it doesn't insult your intelligence like WWE/TNA, better storylines, it's all around a superior product to anything in wrestling mainstream. |

I used to LOVE the WWF as a kid. I was obsessed with Hulk Hogan, the Undertaker, and then I was pretty into it during the Stone Cold/The Rock era. It definitely jumped the shark, though. I still turn it on sometimes when I'm stoned just for a laugh, but now it just strikes me as very goofy. It certainly provided me many years of entertainment, though |

| If you wanna see good pro wrestling, with actual storylines that don't suck, great wrestlers, check out ROH. It's not on tv, you'll have to order it on dvd's. It's the biggest indie currently in the US. It easily beats WWE and TNA hands down, for sure. |

| I started watching wrestling last year and liked it, but the stories are really weird and nonsensical, and some times I can't watch due to this (so far I only know WWE, but I heard TNA is even worse in that aspect), so I'll give ROH a try |

| Yeah, you'll like ROH much better, it's wrestling for wrestling fans. WWE and TNA are wrestling for fair-weather fans, it's more corporatism than wrestling really, and it looks like some Mtv crap. ROH is wrestling where the fans opinions matter, no back stage politics, no hollywood script writers from off the scenes of 90210 or Melrose Place, but writers who actually understand pro wrestling. |

Wrestling is a mixed bag at times for me when it comes to watching. Right now the WWE isn't my thing unlike let's say the early 2000s.
Problem here is that the west coast doesn't get much wrestling shows other than the WWE nowadays. ROH is back east, TNA is in Nashville I think. |

i used to love watching wrestling mainly from 2000 when the WWF/E was good, but to me the WWE has just lost the plot and dont even get me started on ECWWE _________________ "Freedom Is The Right Of All Sentient Beings" |
