What is your religion? I'm a Buddhist.

Does anyone ever give you hell for following your religion, especially if you're a teen?

People here think that Buddhists worship the Buddha(we don't),and the people--especially people my age--say that I'm so weird and crazy to follow Buddhism.

I'm an atheist, but my beliefs lean toward taoism (if that can be considered a religion). People aren't too hard on me for my faith, or lack there of, but there are some who are close minded and only believe their faith is the path to follow. I just say do whatever brings you happiness in life.

if people cant accept that you do things differently than most others enough to have to mention it, dont pay attention to them. what you're doing doesn't hurt anyone, in fact, being a Buddhist is one of the most peaceful things you can do., just think how many wars have been started by buddhism and how many have been started by islam and christianity.

so ask them, what they think is so strange about peace and self understanding?

I'm more agnostic than anything, i really only caught hell for this when i was in the boy scouts, because even though they arent legally allowed to force their religious beliefs on you they'll still give you crap like "come on, you gotta believe in something"

Nondenominational Christian.

I would like to point out that I do believe there is only one way...but I'm not going to beat you over the head with a Bible or make fun of you for your beliefs. That isn't the right way to go about anything.

Same here. And if anyone feels like I'm forcing my views on them, please don't hesitate to PM or e-mail me and let me know. Smile I have a lot of friends who follow different religious beliefs than I do, so it's not at all entirely an odd thing.

I'm a non-denominational Christian, but I also found that meditation helps. Must've picked that up from karate. Smile

Agnostic. My philosophy is that since we know nothing about what happens after death, we should just assume that nothing does happen. Thus we should spend our lives bettering the quality of our lives and the lives of our fellow men.

Although I wasn't raised as any specific religion, my beliefs probably put me into the category of being an agnostic.

I think that's cool that you follow Buddhism! I go to a Christian school myself, but I don't see myself as a Christian.

I believe it's silly that people exclude and ridcule others because of their religion.

All religion is the same, it's all toward the same goal, (I don't know about Satanists though...) it's just all different ways of going toward this universal divine peace that we want to go to.

I really have no idea what religion I want to follow. I just want find peace with whatever I end up with.

No religion. If I were to get religion I'd go for some pagan nature appreciation. Buddhism(non mystical) would be a second choice.

I was once a Christian Baptist, now I'm agnostic-atheist.
