How do I add voting options? Or can I not do that once I've posted it? Cause I need to add Dream Theater, Rush, Death, Strapping Young Lad, and Scorpions, and Pantera.

Agreed,it's impossible to do a poll of any genre,when it's only giving a few options.
Better to just do voting through posts,and not through poll. |
Perhaps the OP would like to start a new poll asking for a favourite genre.

| In the poll, it was a tie between Slayer and Sabbath, but I picked Slayer based on recent listening habits. I don't have a favorite metal band. There are too many, and they're too different. |

i'm only occasionally in the mood for metal, but when i am i like bathory, celtic frost, tiamat, and buckethead's wilder stuff. bathory's probably my fave.

IRON MAIDEN - best sounding metal band ever - sooo many good albums and songs-number of the beast, powerslave, somewhere in time, brave new world
SLAYER - show no mercy, reign in blood, seasons in the abyss - favorite song-spirit in black
METALLICA - (in the 80s) best songs - fade to black, eye of the beholder, master of puppets, battery, motorbreath, dyers eve
JUDAS PRIEST - best albums-british steel, defenders of the faith, screaming for vengeance, painkiller, angel of retribution. go buy the "painkiller" album. its really good thrash metal. people think they know know judas priest because of a small handful of songs, but there are sooo many good metal songs, not just the watered down stuff they play on the radio. their "turbo" album even sounds like hair metal haha. my favorite songs are leather rebel, nightcrawler, all guns blazing, under blood red skies, hell bent for leather, electric eye, jawbreaker, the sentinel, eat me alive, hard as iron, hellrider.
ICED EARTH - they sound like a mix of metallica and iron maiden and they pull it off well.
okay favorite random songs - metal church-beyond the black, carcass-inpropagation, running wild-blazon stone, 3 inches of blood-lord of the storm, morbid angel-god of emptiness, cradle of filth-funeral in carpathia, manowar-hail and kill
