I'd like to throw in Marcus Fenix from Gears of War into this thread. He seems to have little regard for social skills, he is usually to the point, and doesn't really seem to display a lot of emotion.
Oh, and yes for Gordan Freeman. Barney, eh, so-so. I didn't get the feeling that he looked through you, but I saw the potential for it in the "A Red Letter Day" chapter when he seemed to display a lack for social skills when he pointed out his hatred for poor Lamarr whenever he saw it.
Just my two cents. |

You know, the Tails thing may be right. For some reason, it keeps telling me he IS, but I can't put my finger on why.
Anyway, what about the R&D guy from Trauma Center UTK and SO? He was definitely Aspie-like. _________________ If you don't like Death Note, please exit via the broken glass shooting room. |

| It may be how he was raised but I think 47 may have been genetically altered to have aspergers. He is not very social and prefers to be alone and reflect. Possibly a trait given to him on purpose to make sure he attains the perfect execution (marginal pun intended) and doesn't get any attention through socialising with people. |

| Has anyone played Okage: Shadow King. The hero is a boy named Ari who is considered a shy outcast in public. He is both bullied by the other boys in town and fails to get a date with a girl at the beginning of the game. He'll never show much emotion, in fact the shadow king posesses him because his soul seems "overshadowed." He is another one of those mute lead characters, like Crono or Serge, but there are many times throughout the game where you must decide by a three-way choice what he says to his party members. Choices usually range from uncaring to slightly caring. Not to mention, there are other weird characters in it too. |

Is there a possibility that Gau in FFVI might have AS? _________________ Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus and Aspies are from Wrong Planet.

I doubt it.
Gau was a feral youth.
All his abnormalities were explained by that. |

What about the characters in Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit? I'm not sure about Lucas Kane (although if he reads his co-worker's mind, he finds out that the guy thinks he's creepy... suggesting that Lucas has given him a bad impression the whole time, because if it was just that Lucas had been acting strange that day he would have probably wondered what ws wrong instead. But that could mean anything), but given that Carla Valenti gets so attached to her cases that she won't think of anything else while she's working on one... actually, I'm forgetting Lucas' flashback. Sitting away from the other kids, just watching them play while his brother begs him to join in, and then refusing to play hide and seek with the idiots in the doomed hangar... apart from his vision and having to try and save his brother's friends, that's my childhood in a nutshell. _________________ “Hey, you have ten fingers, I have ten fingers, let's be friends. | Don't know if any of you ever played it, but this guy Hans from the game Syberia seemed VERY autistic - intense special interests, incredibly talented at inventing, fan of structured routine, but otherwise low-functioning. In the game, it was supposedly due to brain damage, though.. |

Um, I think Roxas could be aspie, or Axel. (From Kingdom Hearts 2, Axel originally from Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories).
Axel, at one point, point out that Roxas 'Was the only one he liked' out of a large group of people (Nobodies, technically). Though, I could be wrong...
Every Sim in The Sims games, ever. Seriously.
And Cloud could very well be aspie, but I'm not sure. Perhaps it's just all he's been through, (Then again, I've never been able to play FFVII, I've just seen him in cut scenes through KH) |
