That's a good tonguetwister - Smelena's socks are smelly now.

Enjoy the rest of your trip as well

main diff with spanish is that spain has a whole other formal" tense for plurals and such that all the rest of spanish-speakers don't use. it's kinda hard to compare to english just cause english is kinda diff anyway. but thanks!

Just had a fantastic weekend at Monsaraz - a 900 year old village. We had fun walking around the castle. Here are some more pictures.

Portugal's an attractive country. I liked Faro particularly. The people seem to keep very much to themselves and aren't the friendliest bunch I've ever encountered though.

Hi Smelena,Have fun. Smile
You're very brave! Cool
Where are you going next?
And why didn't you take Aussieboy?Does he have routine issues like me?

You are missing the rain!Forecasters are saying the drought is broken for this year!
And that it will probably still be raining by the time you get back! Very Happy
Take care.
Matt.

Thanks Matt! I am having a fabulous time. I didn't bring AussieBoy because the budget didn't stretch that far! We'll take the kids for overseas holidays when they're older.

Rain!! Fabulous!! I worked really hard in the garden planting heaps of new plants just before I left. The garden should look great when I get back.

I've posted some more photos: shopping day for the gypsies with the donkey and cart parked out the front; more beautiful Portuguese architecture; 'Men at Work' - on every corner the men of Porgual sit or stand around all day people watching!

Portugal is beautiful and friendly - I thoroughly recommend it as a holiday destination.

Helen

I look at those picture and suddenly I look out the window in my flat in England and look at the weather it's awful in England.

Hi Smelena! I took some liberties with your photos. (It's my hobby, and I'm still learning).

Hope you like them!
