| I had the weirdest thing happen with a cat last night. I am taking care of a friend's cats right now. I fed the cats, changed the water, and then scooped out the litter box (Yuck!). I then sat down to the computer as she said I could use the computer while I am there taking care of the cats. One of the cats is normally very friendly. This cat jumped up on the table and sat directly in front of the computer. I pet the cat and gave it some attention and then put it down on the floor. The cat then jumped back up onto the table and then used its paws to type on the keyboard. When I got up to leave the apartment the cat followed me outside and ran up the steps in the hallway. I had to coax the cat back into the apartment and had to physically push the cat into the apartment. The cat nips at my legs when I'm at the computer. It was the weirdest thing. I think the cat was trying to get me to leave. It was so bizarre! |

The cat might also be wanting all the attention,or competing with the other cat,it sounds like he/she likes having the human company around.
Biscuit does the same sort of stuff around computers, she has to compete with a not so great mesh pc for attention. _________________ [LFAutie]

My cats compete with the laptop for attention.
Well two of them do. The argue with it and push it and sit on it.
The third used to purr and rub it lovingly. She loved the hum sound it made I think. |

I too have a psycho cat. It's completely weird in every possible way.. it hisses at everyone, and it spends ALL DAY under my sink. We put it's food and water under the sink and it never leaves. If I take it out to brush it/pet it, it'll run back in within 30 seconds.
It used to be an outside cat and horrified of my dad and I... it took us 3 years of feeding it for it to come up to us. |

Sounds like it just wanted more attention. They can be pushy little buggers.
Mine steals pens and pencils than shoves them under the kitchen rug....smaller important objects belong under the stove.
Important pieces of paper and all grocery lists hanging on the fridge must be shredded into tiny pieces resembling snowflakes...inspect all cardboard boxes before taking them out to the trash...blinds must be opened promptly at 8:00 am or destroyed.
If you open a closet you must leave the door open until you have noted the location of the cat...shutting it in the closet by accident will result in a full day of evil glares and the clawing of furniture. _________________ *Normal* is just a setting on the dryer. |

| My cats have all walked on the keyboard when I was typing. I have told people on the cat site that any errant characters appearing in my posts were as a result of Peter, Paul or Prince stepping on the keyboard. |

Its attempting to usurp power from you. Its attacks are obviously meant to try to harm, or even kill you. I recommend putting him in the oven. The screeches of pain and terror will be cathartic after this horrendous event.
I recommend reading Machiavelli's "The Prince" for an insight into this cats way of thinking. They are devious ones. |

| LOL! I have a cat named Prince who acts completely Machiavellian! Siamese are like that! |

Its a joke.
I have two cats. They are constantly vying for power. They are very sleek and majestic. They seem to embody The Prince in their constant power struggle for human attention, food, and territory. |
