I'm a strong athiest, and I'm also believing if there's something out there, it won't affect me in anyway possible, so therefore even if there is proven that god exists I won't care.

I have a harsh opinion on religion = =

I'm Christian but there was a point when I abandoned it. I blamed God and Christians for my problems, but I've come to realize that God(if existing or not) is the hope to help you live each day. I want to honestly believe in God, but there are times I struggle.

I was raised in an Atheistic/Unitarian Universalist home, but am now trying to convert to Orthodox Judaism. Personally, I'm most interested in Hasidism.
My parents are pretty confused, and at the beginning my mum was pretty upset, but they get more accepting as time goes on. I'm still their kid, after all.
I used to go to school with Fundies, and thus have no remote interest in Xtianity whatsover. I'm also rather curious about New Age philosophy and New Age religions, but not enough to convert or become involved.

I am an athiest, I believe in scientifically proven facts and theories, and feel that religion was originally created by the rulers to keep citizens content and enforce thier power.

What is your religion? I'm a Buddhist.

Does anyone ever give you hell for following your religion, especially if you're a teen?

People here think that Buddhists worship the Buddha(we don't),and the people--especially people my age--say that I'm so weird and crazy to follow Buddhism.

I know how that is. People tell me I'm a hippie because I follow Paganism, especially because I used to have hair down to the middle of my back and always wore it in a scraggly ponytail. But now, my hair is cut clean and short, and often slicked back... and I dress very similar to a farmer.

Just have a question, if someone (doesn't matter who) who looks totally opposite you can up to you and told you he/she believed the same as you, what would you say?

I am a Christian, and because of my faith I can feel at peace whenever I start to get paranoid. I am in the care of a loving, all-powerful God, why should I worry?
