I minimize it because I feel icky otherwise.

Dirt and bacteria cling to hair. Head hair stays pretty clean because it's exposed to the air, and doesn't get moist the way body hair does. The less body hair you have, the easier it is to stay clean under your clothes.

I remove the hair from my armpits, and try to remove the hair from my legs too (but it takes so much work). I don't like to be completly bald down there, tough. :/ That actually makes me feel MORE dirty than if I have some hair. Might trim it sometimes, though.

I have a serious, serious problem with the whole brazilian thing. Not only is it painful and bloody expensive to get done professionally, I would also find it extremely degrading to have someone do that to me. And then i would get stubble!!! Horrible! I've decided that any boyfriend can like it or lump it.
Me too. It also worried me when my sister said just recently she is going to take her 12 year old daughter into a beautician's and get her bikini line waxed. I think it is going to give my niece a complex about body hair (they saw her grandma in bikinis and she apparently had a lot of inner thigh hairs hanging down).

I too would find it degrading to get a brazilian wax and I'm not good with pain. I don't give a rats' if guys "go mad" over the bare look - it's my body and I prefer to have fur.

I shave a lot in the summer and it sucks. I don't shave much in the winter because I wear some jeans and pants. I do shave under my arms. I just wish it didn't take so dang long. I'm afraid of waxing because I don't want to get hurt. I'd do lazer but that's out of my budget. What's a girl to do? It takes so much time. Evil or Very Mad

Ehh, just under my arms, really, because I've always shaved there and it feels weird when I don't.

Otherwise, I used to shave my legs and I don't do it anymore because I shouldn't be wearing anything short enough so that you can see them in the first place, and I hate the feel or when I do shave them, much too itchy the first few days.

I only used to shave my armpits in the summer (ie, when people'd be able to see it), but my boyfriend prefers me to keep it shaved (waxed, in my case).

Never shaved anywhere else though. I think I did my legs once to see what it'd be like, and I've waxed them once or twice previously to that for costumes (I had one where I was wearing just a long tshirt and boxers, plus it was more in character to do so).

I got told off last summer by someone I knew when I admitted it. She said that it was "gross" and was really freaked out. Rolling Eyes Mind you, I had been comparing my legs to the boys. >> They were winning.

I shave my armpits and wax my eyebrows. For my legs and bikini line, I use a hair removal cream.

I shave my armpits if i'm going to wear a shirt that exposes them... and i shave the lower two thirds of my legs in summer. no-one will see me above the knees unless I undress so its no big deal.
I trim my pubic hair, not off but not left to its own devices...
And i have a monobrow so i remove the extra bit of hair in the middle.
I wear heels because im short and they help my screwed up back. I wear makeup beacuase i like it and it contains sunscreen that isnt greasy.
And I wear longer clothes than most people because I have very fair skin.

I look normal... until i stim in public.

I trim the girl bits, occasionally, for comfort reasons (pads anyone?) I only shave if my husband is home, otherwise, I don't bother.

I don't... why should I?

Nobody sees my armpits anyway.

I always shave my pits....the smell lingers otherwise. It's just genetics...And it's itchy if I don't.

Legs...not to much in the winter if at all...and only in the summer if I bother wearing shorts. I'm a pants kinda person.

I HAVE to trim my underwear area. It drives me over the brink if I don't. From the moment it started to grow I'd get hyper and freaky if I didn't. I started out with scissors and now use an electric trimmer. It's not a look thing. I don't care...it's a comfort thing.

I also suffer from trichotillomania..I have a tendency to pull out my eyebrows and eyelashes. Not until they are gone, but a little...just cause it feels good.

However you feel best...go with it.

My mother tried to get me to shave my legs and I ignored her. Then I realized that most girls my age were shaving so I tried it, but I didn't like it. I like the sensory experience of having hair on my legs - I can feel more. I don't bother shaving my armpits because I just don't feel like it.

My mother did bully me into plucking my eyebrows and I did for 20 years, but don't anymore. It didn't feel right.
