By a long shot, "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" by Luo Guanzhong a Chinese classic. It has all the action and drama of a film like Star Wars, the intrigue of a spy movie, dramatic elements of soap operas, Matrix like fighting, wars, and adventure, but on a much grander scale. Star Wars is good, but pales in comparison to the scope, broadness, and heroism of RTK. Basically it combines elements of all types of stories but it is bigger and better than most, and best of all, and what makes even more interesting and intriguing, is it is based on truth. Granted fictional/fantasy elements are thrown in, but it is still between 70 and 80% true.
