My senior class now is apathetic and distant. Senioritis is rampant to where popularity cells are damaged. The juniors are over-achievers, but fairly nice. The folks that think they are popular are underclassmen poser emos who simply put money into a subculture without significant cynical mentality. _________________ You are not submitting the post

Hah@ Who cares! The popular kids tend to become the biggest losers anyway. One day those popular kids would be working for the Aspies > ! I keep fantasizing about bossing around the 'popular' sluts in school when I get out of colege. A way of REVENGE! |

In the "popular kids'" defense I know several who have turned over a new leaf and are actually very kind people. Many aren't, but some are.
For the ones that are not, I've always been told to just remember that being named Prom Queen/King will probably be their biggest achievement in life. And, really. There is sooo much more to live for than just popularity and I try to keep things in perspective and make the most of what I do have.
Plus, reverse discrimination is nasty stuff. Don't stoop to their level. We're better than that. Cliche, but true. :p |
