I'm seriously impressed - I'd put that on cd and roll in my car to it. If you could find some real good female vocalists to go with those tech/trip-hop beats (even here) that would be seriously sick. Good blend too by the way, its got a trip-hop mood but its liquid, metallic, and acid enough to work at a rave. |
speaking of voices,
if someone would be interested in a little sentence for use in your own music,
i'd be glad to record some, send a sentence, i sing it in 5 different ways, send me comments to adjust it a bit more,
i do it again, etc.(a bit like as if i was just an element in a program) and then you can alter it as you want.
for a whole song i wouldn't have the time but playing with a little sentence or two i'd love to |

| I need to practice my sound production before I do much else I think. I'm still mostly reigned in and dominated as a musician still by what I can figure out how to make in terms of sounds rather than what I can think of in terms of melodies or ideas. I just bought NI: Massive a couple days ago so I've got something to work with, trouble is getting out of whatever mental box I'm stuck in in terms of this. |

What's up all?
Hey, I got some stuff me and my homies recorded and we are working hard to get it all together..would love to get feedback from anyone...we rap, and its crunk, but some is mellow ish lol. Please have a listen and let me know...we dont have the right stuff for recordin and all, but we are gettin there...thanx First song you will here is called Gettin Dirty/remix that's our #1 right now...always addin to it. Be aware that there is cussing here...not all songs, but some. The next you might want to hear is "Rock Dis Party," more of a club song.

A battered old Roland XP-10 that I've borrowed from a friend.
That, and my lousy Squier Jazz bass. And a cheapo no-name guitar. Plus Beatcraft for beats and strange rhythms. _________________ And all the decisions I have made in my public life, I have always tried to do what was best for the nation, I have never been a quitter |

Wrote a new piece of music. Simply called Battle Theme III, since I wrote it trying to make a battle theme for an RPG or some other video game.

Hey everyone, I have some songs at http://www.myspace.com/pratfallsbathos
I've been listening to a few of the links posted here, certainly seems we're a talented bunch. I've particularly enjoyed Kerry Lambert in Blightyland, Immoderate Past and Mike George (sorry I'd need to look back to see what your WP names are.)
Feel free to add me as a friend and talk to me on MySpace, I only have 2 or 3 'friends' on MySpace that aren't self-promoting bands. |

i think this is the coolest thread here; and any other forum that showcases our skills and talents. so much discussion on the asperger issues, and not enough focus on our qualities and strengths. we need more positivity and collective self confidence, just my opinion. i like pretty much all the musicians songs i've heard here.
if there's one common thread i'm hearing; it's uniqueness and ingenuity!
thanks!
