I believe in god but I don't believe in the need for religion.
I never pray, go to church or any other place of worship, or praise God in any way shape or form.
I don't feel like that's what it's about. I don't think God created us expecting to be praised 24/7.
I just try to live my life to the fullest and that's how I thank God.
That's my philosophy for life. |

i have a personal goddess, i believe all religions are possible and possibly at the same time, a religion is worth following if you believe in it no matter what people say

| I am Unitarian Universalist and I respect and want to learn about all other religions. (except the religious right (conservative, usually Republican, Christians) drives me crazy at times). My political views are Democrat/Socialist and I support queer/GLBTIQ/gay rights. |

i think religion is all closely related. fighting over small differences. the ratical christians may say treat the Jews like crap and say "ur goin to hell!" well so? how does that affect u? i mean if u hate em, let em (it may sound mean but it might work).
religion is like the Zelda timeline, its anyone's guess. u have no more proof that ur religion is right then the other religous people. |

I get so annoyed when people blame everything on religion and say "Ooh, wait for it, the religious loonies'll be out in a moment" as well as when people say Christians shove their religion down other people's throats. No, not all of us. You're always gonna get a few you go "GOD IS REAAAL!!!" at you and tell you you're going to heck. I myself don't think that's right. In the same way, I get annoyed when some atheist marches up to me and goes "God's not real, you idiot". I'd prefer it if people didn't try to tell me He's real or He's not. Cause in truth, none of us can be 100% sure.

I'm an atheist, although I have a strong interest in Reconstructionist Judaism (and am interested in converting, as you can be an atheist and a Reconstructionist Jew) and Old Catholicism (no, they're not the scary traditionalists, they're a lot more liberal) and would like to get involved in the Progressive Reconstructionist movement and love learning about different religions. I'm a total world religions geek.
