| I've been 5'2" since I was 13. I'm the second shortest person in my entire extended family (I have an older cousin who's 5'1"). I don't think height has to do wth AS. Sorry. |

Have been since I was 11 years old. I grew half a foot in the space of six months. It hurt.
I'd probably have grown taller in high school, I was told, except that I flirted with anorexia on and off. |
I shot up when I was 10 as well and remember it hurting a lot. I used to get stabbing pains in the back of my heels and needed physio to stretch them out. I couldn't touch my toes at all when I was a kid, but years of yoga / pilates stretching has really helped and I'm very flexible now. I've also had a few food issues over the years. Too much as a child, and then too little in my teens, but I eat well now I'm in my 30s and living in NZ. |
i remember having a growth spirt when i was 10 also but i don't think it hurt for me, i was also one of the tallest kids through grade school too but i remember being at least 4' higher from when i was 9 to when i became 10. since then i have'nt really grown much in height so i've been 5'6" which i hear is pretty average around where i live.. |

| I'm 5'5" but really curvy, so clothes never EVER fit me. I'll try on 40 pairs of pants to find one that fits in waist, hips/butt, and length. So...right at average height. |

lol, the variation in humanity is amusing.
my spines "special" it curves a fair bit. I'm 5'1" normally. I can be 5'2"-5'2.5" on a good pain free emotionally stable day; And 4'11" on a BAD day.
Nervousness and stress manifest as pain, pain cuases me to hunch into myslf causeing my spine to temporarily contract further.
The last growth spurt i had, was exeedingly painful and it gave me that half an inch option for good days. lol.
the guy i sit next too at tafe (tech) is 6'5" he has PDDNOS, hes actually really cute. |
