I've just begun exclusively seeing a terrific guy who spoils me rotten. Smile

I'd prefer to hide rather than delete my online dating profiles. Experience has unfortunately taught me that it's awfully nice to be able to start one's profiles up again with a click of the mouse if the relationship doesn't work out.

I can't figure out how to do this on aspieaffection. I've clicked around the site and just don't see the option. Anybody know how to do it?

I don't know if you can delete it, but you can de-activate it.

How? That's what I want to do, de-activate, hide it... not delete.

I would like to know how to delete my account, since it's a waste of time putting it up there. But there is no way to do it. I have written to the mods here, since there was also no place on there for contact for this.

You can always delete and then re-apply..
I had a profile briefly..after my relation got all shambly and I felt out for revenge,,(not good reason to apply on Aspie Affection)..i have since deleted it.

I just deleted mine too, because I just got another message on there, and it doesn't seem fair to leave it up.

It seems to be gone? When I sign in, it says my profile isn't activated. I clicked on "Cancel Membership" at the left; but since it still lets me sign in, maybe my profile is just hidden?

Well, whatever. I still have my other profiles, so if things don't work out I'll just start a new aspie one and copy over.

LPP, your profile is pretty negative. It's a good idea to be positive in dating profiles; you are selling yourself, after all.

Regardless of whether I can help you or not - congrats.

One thing I've noticed from my own experience, every deleted profile tends to mean you'll need a new email address just to get back in - definitely a good idea to take other options if available.

Yes, I saw your disclaimer that it was a joke. But I thought you protested a little too much. Wink

Yes -- on a dating site, until they meet you, you are.
