Lord of the Rings, Lord of the Rings and Lord of the Rings. It's entirely Peter Jackson and everyone else involved's fault about two of my most recent obsessions: Lord of the Rings, and Film.

Mind you, Star Wars: the Phantom Menace blew my mind when I was a kid.

Along with every other Disney film I've ever watched (but I grew up when the Little Mermaid, the Lion King etc. were released, so that was a good start).

EDIT: And Ghibli. Spirited Away completely entranced me. And Princess Mononoke is even better.
