Don't you all be discouraged.

There is an age factor in calculation of IQ score. As you get older your IQ score decreases.
IQ (intelligence quotient) = (Mental Age / Chronological Age) x 100

When I was in 5th grade my IQ was 146.
Now at age 26 I took the tickle IQ test and I scored 129.

I guess I can say that I matured early tongue

I got a 126, which I am fine with, but I don't think it correctly measures my intelligence because of my learning disabilities. It was a timed test, and I am slow at processing information.

If 5 + 11 is not equal to 13, maybe I shouldn't take the test right now. Razz

141, which is about what I got from an official test when I took it a few years back, if I remember correctly.

This is not true. Originally IQ was calculated this way, but no longer. And when it was computed this way, it worked only up until age 16 or so. Your IQ should actually remain fairly constant over your lifetime, barring factors like illness/fatigue on the day of a test, etc. Your abilities are compared to others of your same age- you are always compared to your peers, no matter how old you are. So if you were in the 99th percentile at age 10, you are likely to still be in the 99th percentile at age 50.

They just don't send the results to me. I spoke to a guy who had similar problems getting the result mailed from GIQ, another test.

I got 149, despite feeling dizzy and not doing things as quick as I might be able to on a good day. I didnt just guess any of them.

Don't worry, these tests don't have that much bearing on actual 'intelligence' in my opinion. They are like flaming hoops, the problem is that they are in the shape of the people who made them. Good luck if you don't fit quite right. Laughing

I scored 135, which I know is pretty close. I usually score around 140, on other tests.

I got a 122. I used to generally average 135 to 145 on them, but then I joined the military. Something that happened there whether it be having two kids back to back or taking the anthrax vaccination...whatever it may be...my brain is like a vegetable. I really think 122 was too high for how I feel it should be right now. I'm not lying...my brain is fried for whatever reason.
