You know what I think? I think autism is caused by Mercury. . .in retrograde. I mean, there's gotta be some reason my interest in neurology, and my social inadequacies, suddenly spiked during this terrible astrological season.

Next week, I will publish a list of 23 reasons that prove shoelaces are the sole cause of autism.
For starters, though, bear in mind that no study has been published that categorically proves, without a shadow of a doubt, that shoelaces are not the cause of autism.
I will invent some studies that substantiate each of my 23 reasons. I will, of course, construct a website where you can look them all up. In fact, I will construct a whole set of websites, using a slightly different style on each, all of which refer to each other. Naturally, none of the links will point anywhere that is remotely credible. _________________ new, adj. Different colour from previous model.

As was pointed out elsewhere, over 95% of children in the Western world have been vaccinated, and less than one percent of children are autistic. Therefore, vaccines cause normalcy! _________________ One man's "magic" is another man's engineering. "Supernatural" is a null word. - Robert A. Heinlein |

Ah, but autistic people still have unusual proximity to Mercury. |

When I'm in the mood, it can be quite a mercurial one. Biscuit? _________________ new, adj. Different colour from previous model.

| I guess that puts the popularity of Queen on the list of potential causes. |
