Well, that may be true, generally speaking, for humans HERE. But just imagine that this planet has been in existence for many thousands of years, and the inhabitants are, therefore, not "naturally intended to be sociable", and the NT's would be considered foreign and alien. |
It would be like imagining a world without religion; almost impossible. The effects of religion, like 'sociotypy' (as I call it), has been so widespread as to be possibly responsible for many things we would never associate it with (that is, even things like libraries, computers, and the Silicon Valley may be entirely different than they are now, if they would exist at all).
But that's the analytical perspective. From a creative standpoint, I liked the 'more libraries than cinemas' thing. |

| I hope we can have cats and other pets there. Otherwise, I'll stay where I am. |

Oh yes, there will be cats.
However, they will not be our pets, and they will hold respected positions in society. |

| Well governments would be completely differently structured. Cities wouldn't be so compact since everyone's personal space is way larger. The idea of property would be completely changed. Smart intelligent people would be revered lots more. Charisma wouldn't be such a large factor in choosing who to trust anymore. The corrupt people who end up taking over that world would probably be crazy intelligent. Math would probably be a religion. |

Well, I think a planet like that would be wonderfully predictable with little change. Not quite like the movie Groundhog's Day, but not so chaotic like this world. _________________ What the ...? |

We as a whole would begin using logic, and stop paying insane amounts of money to football players and not enough toward people who practice important things like medical and scientific research. _________________ celebrating my diagnosis of AS on July 15, 2008 after years of confusion |

There is probably at least one person on this site who likes football. Perhaps not enough to put the ridiculous amount of money towards it that this world does. |

I'm not saying football is a bad thing. After all, doctors get paid to treat those injuries. I'm kidding. There's nothing wrong with the sport, I just used it as an example of how backwards our society's priorities have become. |

I was reading an article on the Inter-Web about genetic screening, and I got to thinking, what if in the future ASpies were diagnosed early and sent off to Planet ASpie?
I thought it might be like the 'book-keepers' in that movie 'Farenheit 451'. _________________ I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow. I feel my fate in what I cannot fear. I learn by going where I have to go. ~Theodore Roethke |

I imagine the best thing about such a place is I wouldn't be considered a freak anymore, but normal |

It would sound like a world full of lonely people whom cant many times seem to now how to interact with each other long enough to make a real relationship last.
The species would die out until NT's came along. _________________

I know. I personally think playing football is a terrible thing, but I'm sympathetic to those who have to go through it. |

| It would be really weird. Everybody would be too themselves. Where wouldn't be any fun activities like strip clubs, dance clubs, concerts, etc cuz most of us are don't like being in a crowd. It would basically be quiet all the time and like a ghostown. |

There would still be strippers and concerts, but it would just be poor people playing on a street corner, with people dancing the telephone poles. |

I don't agree with that at all.
It would be nothing more than having a bunch of different countries, all with different laws - but respecting each other's existence. You don't have to visit if you don't want to. That's where the social stuff lessens in importance - but you still have countries that caters for what social need (whatever limit) we have. Provides a holiday destination if you like. |
