Just curious when the new season starts (4?), or if it already has. _________________ "Throwing acid is wrong in some people's eyes." - Jimmy Carr |

6:20pm, April 5th in the UK. In the US, Voyage of the Damned is to be transmitted on the Sci-Fi Channel on April 18. _________________ People and planets and stars will become dust. I can't wait! Doctor Who is my current favorite sci-fi show! I think I'll exit this thread now so I won't be spoiled about what happens this season! |

Doctor Who is actually on PBS on some weekend evenings.
Doctor Who is on as well as As Time Goes By, Last of the Summer Wine and a lot of other Britcoms. _________________ Jason Larsen

Is that the classic series, or the new series? _________________ People and planets and stars will become dust. And the dust will become atoms and the atoms will become... nothing. This is my ultimate victory, Doctor! The destruction of reality itself! |

Looks like a long wait. I was hoping it would be sooner. I've already seen Voyage on youtube. _________________ Player of Pardus. |

In fact, I know Doctor Who is still shining here!
It's been on PBS and BBC America! _________________ Jason Larsen

This is how the show is broadcast here in the states:
1st run: Sci-Fi Channel 8:00 on Fridays (If there's new episodes, they'll appear here first).
2nd run: BBC America 7:00 on Saturdays (right now, they're up to "Blink" which makes its BBC America premiere tonight)
Syndication: PBS, varies (the 9th doctor series at least).
Torchwood however, runs 1st run on BBC America. The first episode of the second series was the first time in the history of BBC America that they ran the American premiere of a show the same week it premiered in Britain. It's also the highest rated show in the history of the network ("Top Gear" is second I think.) _________________ "We can't stop here, this is bat country." - Hunter S. Thompson |

Wow!
I didn't think BBC America would be that much on top of things! _________________ Jason Larsen
