Hi sld123 and welcome

I am also a mother and only diagnosed last year myself, my 14 year old son has since been diagnosed and the local school do not have the resources or understanding to deal with or help us. I feel my son would beneifit from a "cyber-school last school year" and would love to know more.

hi, the first idea i come up with is, if you are interested, to ask our school about a foreign [sp?] exhange. our school
http://www.pacyber.org/
has an autism director and plans in the works to make a brick and mortar vocational high school soon, near pittsburgh, pennsylvania. about 1/4 of our student body are differently abled.

Persaud to exhibit "The Art of Autism"

Persaud earned dual bachelor degrees from Penn State University and received her
M.S. in school psychology from Duquesne University. She is currently pursuing
board certification in behavior analysis. She is the director of autism services
for the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School.

i hope you will explore my first idea, if it is not working out, let me know, i will think some more!

best,
s in pa/pennsylvania
