I love school! I have friends (which was impossible before, but I found some people who look past my differences and don't care that I'm a weirdo), I have good courses, good teachers, I have good marks, and my school is so much more accepting then the usual school.
I'm not saying it's perfect (With my severe amount of anxiety and depression, perfect's not possible), but I found my place where I click. I'm going to be so sad to leave... _________________ "You can do the math a thousand way, but you can't undo the past"

I have a sort of love-hate relationship with school I love the intellectually stimulating part of it and the fact that I can have friends with the same interests as me. I get disappointed though that maybe I'm missing out on a lot. And I find certain things that I have to do very hard. So it's a mixed bag.
Frankly, I wouldn't be anywhere else besides school right now, though. |

Most of the time I kind of like school, the only thing I don't like about it is its size, it's very small and situated right in the middle of a very busy part of the city, so it's a bit noisy as well.
It's a good school (at least it is considered that way from where I'm from), I get decent grades, the teachers are mostly nice. As for friends it's hard to say because in our school there's this thing, no one ever eats alone, and if you do people look at you, I have people to eat with, but they are not people I'd like to talk to.
Though I hate to admit it, I'm going to be sad when I leave too, after all, the kindergarten, the primary school and secondary school I went to are all on the same street, so I pretty much stayed on the same street for 13 years. It'd be hard. |

| My years at school were the best time of my life, and what's more, I was aware of it. |

| i went to a bunch of different schools, k-12. i can tell you each school is different from another, especially transferring districts. i have had schools that i absolutely hated, where my anxiety was acting up terribly, the kids were mean. I had one school that i absolutely loved, where i made friends and had fun, they acepted me. it just depends on the teachers, the other students and the courses available. |

I like the classes and often dislike the breaks. It always was so loud... _________________ I am no native speaker. Please contact me, if I made grammatical mistakes in the posting above.

I liked one elementary school and the preschool. The rest, nope. But I know someone who absolutely adores school (she's not on the spectrum though), so you're apparently not alone. _________________ “I shall not commit the fashionable stupidity of regarding everything I cannot explain as a fraud.” - C.G.Jung |

| I love school and classes - I dislike free time, though. Learning things is fun, and I've been blessed with a lot of really great teachers in the past. |

I love school- going to college gives you a chance to start fresh, and my school is very accepting of eccentric individuals. I've even told a few of my new friends about my AS and they're very understanding of it. I honestly couldn't see myself anywhere else.
On the contrary, high school sucked, but when you're stuck with the same people for so long giving the same negative impression in a world of conformity, it can be really difficult. If you love being in high school, then congratulations, I'm so glad you've found a place to fit in, and try to enjoy these moments as much as you can! |

I used to hate school. I thought that it was the worst place to be.
Now that i'm no longer there, I realise how easy and predictable it all was. Now my days are disorganised, unproductive and basically a waste of time.
If I could turn back time and stay at school, I would. _________________ The hero is no braver than the ordinary man, but he is brave five minutes longer

| I LOVE learning. It's the "schooling" bit that is iffy. Depends on the school's philosophy on learning. |

I would have enjoyed school much more before my adult years... heck... I'd enjoy it much more NOW... if I could walk into class at a time of my own choosing, sit in class as long as it held my interest, be able to either tune out the class and go to work on something without interruption, or be able to get up and go to another class when I felt it was time for me to leave.
Basically... going through school in accordance to my own attention span and not their time frame!
I really love school... I LOVE to learn!... they just don't seem to have a knack for scheduling things in a manner that works best for me. _________________ fides solus
