The real effect of global warming is that a significant proportion of people are willing to sacrifice their rights and prosperity to an unproven load of horse dung. Global warming exists, as a concept due to human stupidity. _________________ Who is John Galt?

Indeed.
Global warming and its diehard followers annoy me. _________________ "The human race, to which so many of my readers belong, has been playing at children's games from the beginning, and will probably do it till the end, which is a nuisance for the few people who grow up."

| Global Warming is like Recession; you can't measure it until it's already happened. While I believe that of all the evidence, there is something there, I don't believe there is something in all the evidence... |

If you take the time to do a little research, the sun goes through peaks and lows. Increased sun activity will warm the Earth's atmosphere. As for killer CO2, something like 95% of all CO2 is produced naturally. Recent findings show the oceans NOT warmer, but staying the same temperature as always.
In general, always beware of anyone telling you that you'd better start doing as they say, or we'll all suffer. _________________ I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow. I feel my fate in what I cannot fear. I learn by going where I have to go. ~Theodore Roethke |

Is happiness global warming? topic
If there is any good reason for saving the environment it is primarily to save money.Money is wasted on frivolities which we could do without. I have long been a person who is very careful with money, though my way of thinking would certainly not add to the GNP or boost business growth. But it keeps a roof over my head, clothes on my back and food in the stomach. In short, my kids and I somehow survive. _________________ Radical Aspergian
