I've found I obsess over music quite easily. I've played the same songs over and over again recently and bought a hoodie AND concert tickets... (dragonforce ofc)

EDIT: Oh, and football. I memorize every player's stats all the time.

I have obsessions with:

Etymology and where words are derived from
Con artists and similar criminals
Controlled substances (mostly hallucinogens)

I think those are the really big ones. It's hard for me to determine what's an obsession and what's just an interest. I mean, I am interested in the Beat Generation, experimental poetry and fiction, things that are paisley, and the Sims 2, but I think those are only interests because they're less specialized than my obsessions.

I started collecting Star Wars legos when I was 8 and stopped around age 12. During that period and after I wasted a lot of time on video games and then on runescape. I got obsessd with competitive eating last year, but have found something great recently. I kind of rediscovered running. By running farther I felt incredible and was mre relaxed than ever. I found something to live for. Two years ago, in 8th grade, I was obsessed with myspace for a month or two and I still watch TV too much. I seem to always be obsessed with this one girl, mostly at school, and I find it unpleasant because nothing good ever happens with that. At some point last year, I was obsessed with finding reasons to live and do my schoolwork.
