i'm a big Genesis fan, too! i'm guessing you're a collins fan, huh?, lol.
i like all eras, it really depends on what mood i'm going through. i've always liked phil, but had no clue about Genesis until high school. My band teacher had a fabulous record collection in his office, and i found the trick of the tail album. he let me borrow it (great guy!), and from there, it was all good!
did you get to go the last tour they did? i had tickets for twickenham...had them in my hand...and had to sell them because my husband changed his mind at the last minute and didn't want to go. i cried for days! (well for a couple hours anyway). we were stationed in italy at the time, and i could've caught the rome concert, but i'm not a big fan of rome...too chaotic for me. i bought the cd of the tour earlier this year. not the same of course, but y'know...
i liked your story. do you like Yes as well? for some reason, i always get Yes and Styx mixed up
