I don't suppose they will if we get labelled as mentally ill, they will consider us as sick and therefore not of sound mind and therefore not capable of rational thought. |

| I have seen many studies in which schizophrenia and autism share some of the same morphology. It's not at all crazy that they could have the same origins. Many of my extended family are schizophrenics, which is why I went in for my own diagnosis, but was happy to find out I'm autistic instead. |

| same here i'v seen alot of studys that schizphrenia, mental illness, anxiety and stress etc may be linked to autism, alot of my family were diabetics and had severe depression, anxiety, ptsd, etc as well. who knows but i think schizophrenia is somewhat linked to autism since it has to do with oxiative stress. |

I don't know. I'll have to ask the other guy. (Leave me alone!) I'll get back to you. _________________ To eliminate poverty, you have to eliminate at least three things: time, the bell curve and the Pauli Exclusion Principle. Have fun. |

One of my parents got depression - I don't think it was from her mental make-up, more from her life experiences; compared to that I have to agree, the spectrum is more desirable. |
