| I just got to see the first 3 episodes of the new season and I'm being blown away. this new season has the potential to be the best season ever. it also looks like they are brining back the Sontarins. |

Sontarans. Spell it right.
I have to admit, I was starting to get worried that Who may have jumped the shark. Although Australians will probably have to wait a while, from what I've seen, this series is still going strong. Planet of the Ood looks to have been the best one, so far. And Donna is actually a good companion. Now there's a shock. _________________ At moments when monsters spawn in by rising up from the ground, it turns the action into a gory, protracted session of Whack-A-Mole.

You mean the secondary brain the Ood have, or the Hive Mind? In the latter case, it's probably a 'chicken and the egg' scenario. _________________ At moments when monsters spawn in by rising up from the ground, it turns the action into a gory, protracted session of Whack-A-Mole.

| I'm just guessing but the only logical conclusion would be that the Ood didn't develop that way naturally. but rather at some point in their development engineered themselves to be part of a collective mind like that and developed the brain first and then augmented themselves genetically as a race to tap into it. |

In America, "Voyage of the Damned" only premiered last Friday, but I have a good idea of the next couple episodes, and the special secret guest appearance at the end of the second episode was already ruined for me by the Internet. Several times. And I have no problem with it. In fact it was common knowledge that said character would appear in about 3-4 or so (does this appearance count towards that count?), the shock was that she'd appear this soon.
Anywho, I've been hearing good things about Donna as the new companion as the character of Martha Jones just never really clicked with me the way that every other companion in the history of the show did (dunno why, prolly the fact that she always made it clear she was a medical student at every single opportunity, but there were a few good storylines) _________________ "We can't stop here, this is bat country." - Hunter S. I've seen three episodes so far. The Pompeii episode was good (and very silly too). _________________ Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus and Aspies are from Wrong Planet.

Just saw the Sontranan Stratagem. Good episode. Zero emission cars would be good for the planet as long as the cars didn't go into auto drive. _________________ Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus and Aspies are from Wrong Planet.

OK now that everyone's seen "Partners In Crime" I'm going post my theory for the sudden appearance and disappearance of Rose.
1. Remember the Doctor said he was pretty much burning a supernova just to project himself like he did to Rose, so somehow she'd found either a supernova OR she's gained the power similar to that
2. This isn't Rose at all, it's a trick played by someone (The Master?, remember he can REGENERATE. Big plot hole with the end of Series 3.) to fool the Doctor into a trap and Rose is only a hologram or projection (but not one of the real here, a fake projection). The fact that Piper only signed on for a scant couple episodes helps with this theory _________________ "We can't stop here, this is bat country." - Hunter S. Thompson |
