| I don't think that they "go after" them, I think that they just see someone they like, other wise I could make the argument "Why do All White Men go after Black Women?" Or "Why do All White Women go After All Black Men?" |

Yes, I know what you're asking, slowmutant, and I'm asking why is it you only mention black men and white women and not the other way round. Since this thread seems "sort of" racist but limited to one scenario, I thought I'd ask.
If I'm not getting anything please feel free to elaborate.

It's not a racist question. Interaccial relations as as racist as you make it out to be. A racist question would be, "Are blacks able to do math without help from whites?"
My question is politically neutral. I'm not implying anything untoward here. If you're not posting on this thread to examine the topic, you can gracefully bow out.

My, I wouldn't expect such aggressiveness from somebody using that avatar. I guess it doesn't really fit, then. 
I posted a legitimate question linked to the topic. All the aggressiveness on your part makes me wonder if a black man hit on your girlfriend or potential girlfriend (if you have one, and if you're white, which I assume you think you are, based on your topic for this thread). It's my guess.

No, nothing like that happend. I have no GF, and no black guy hit on anyone. I might have come across as racist, but that was not my intention. Questioning the questioner can be annoying, that's all. Yes, I'm Christian, but clearly not a saint.

| Looking at from from a sociological/economic perspective, I would argue it is a social status thing. A black man able to get a white women is probably above his group status in some way socially; conversely, if a white women goes for a black man, she is probably lower in status than her group average. Of course, the politically correct answer should probably more egalitarian, like "You should not be asking that question, and you are stereotyping, blacks are no more likely to like white women than whites are to like Asian women". |

Is this really true? Can you say that people do not date outside their race and that is shameful to suggest otherwise? I see nothing sterotypical or demeaning in broaching the subect of interracial dating. I am not against it. I don't wish it would stop or that people dating outside their race be punished. It was an innocent question.

Since the attraction of a black man to a white woman (or visa versa) is a function of their respective backgrounds in the areas this most frequently occurs (presumably the US and Europe), let us start with a structured investigation of the social statuses of black and white women in said areas.
My contribution: Black men come in contact more often with white women than black women.

Is it truly so that black males go after white females a lot, or is it just in your perception?
If we asume that for some reason, there is a tendency for black-male/white-female couples, how do we find accceptable thesi?
So then, the male and female from different ethnicities will choose each other rather than choose from their own ethnicity.
However, I am not quite sure if it is soly the males choosing.
It could be that the male, as males tend to do, feels that a 'bro will bang any chick that is willing to put out'.
Clearly, there must be some incentive to choose the exotic over the non-exotic.
For some, I would summise that the exotic in itself is considered arrousing.
Or, it would simply be in the perception of the individuals.
The white female might be percepted as 'tight', and the black male might be percepted as 'hung like a horse'.
These theories however, are highly unscientific, and have been debunked many times over.
Still, Interacial Fetish Pornographics have been indulging on these public perception.
The issue of social status might also be included.
In short, there is at this moment no surefire way to know for sure.
I do have to ask, if knowledge on this question would impact society in any meaningfull way.
