Thanks Inventor. I realize that people move on (just like I have), but it is nice when they pop back for a visit (just like I have). Cockney is one of the few ones left that I recognise, among others.

Mmmhmm. This place is a haven, and I love it when people come back. I usually never stop coming here, as it has helped me so much.

Oh it's alright Shades! Not like there's not much else going on... although that is partly my fault. Should I put up sections from my proper story up?

That sounds good. I think we'd all like that.

Now if only I could get my Laptop going again...

Ah well. for now, I'll copy/paste what I wrote about Zoe in Outcast Diaries (not in the fanfic, in the actual story):

Zoe was born in the year 6,989AD in Mordith's Empire. She was a sweet little girl, however she had a tendency to be easily saddened and had Separation Anxiety. She lived in the same city as Clarrissa and Marilyn, but while Clarrissa and Marilyn were best friends, they did not know too much about Zoe.

Zoe in my story represents sadness and the burdens of it, from lack of self-esteem to suicide. How this happens is that Zoe is taken as part of Mordith's Child Segregation Scheme, an annual 'event' that happens every 2-5 years or so. Clarrissa, Marilyn, and Zoe are taken out of a random selection and transported to a pair of large islands to work as slave labour. While the three are freed by the local Rebellion, Zoe suffers tremendously as a result, in a Seperation Anxiety sort of way. She is in a land she has never heard of with no means to get back to those she loves. As a result she gets quite depressed and sad. Clarrissa takes it upon herself to be her caretaker, helping Zoe however she can.

At first Zoe was a bit unrealistic in terms of her depression. The most obvious one to me was that Zoe, despite her sadness, had never thought or attempted suicide. This changed after I met Sophie, who herself was depressed more often than not and, similarly to Zoe, was contrasted by this by the fact that she was quite pretty. My understanding of Sophie and the new perspective I gained by meeting and knowing her allowed me to make Zoe far more realistic than before, and this was further sealed when Sophie eventually left our world and lives.

Zoe wasn't always like this though. Back in the early stages of my story Zoe was a tomboy, a direct port of the Zoe character from the SSX series, which originally inspired her in the first place. Zoe in my story was also the first female character to be conceptualized. She was more tough and less insecure about herself, however this eventually changed when I wanted Zoe to be a more tender and fragile character. The original Zoe's characteristic's would eventually find their way into the characters of Tephra and Scythe.

The only drawing of Zoe in my gallery is this one:

It's near the climax of my story where Mordith influences her telepathically to be filled with hate and anger at Koise, and then proceeds to beat the crap outta him (similar to the effects of the One Ring). This is to contrast her own personality, what with the innocent, sad girl suddenly beating up the hero.

I added another diary entry about Maylen, a very special character in the story.

Writing has stalled again since my laptop is out of commission. However, I've gotten a good idea for Zoe. As you know, Zoe is now a mute character (in my actual story) who hasn't spoken for 2-3 years due to her depression. However, Koise comes along and into her life and, with the help of Clarrissa, manages to make her feel better about herself. The next morning, Koise and Clarrissa pass by her and say hello, and Zoe accidentally replies "Hello Clarrissa".
