My Saga Magadrive came with a Lotus racing game and James Pond 2.

Ah, I remember when me and my bro would play games like Sonic or Tailspin, which lets two people play though the levels together. (Sonic and Tails, Baloo and Kit). Smile

The first PC games we had were Worms Reinforcements and Dracula (which actualy had nouthing to do with vampires, it was a kind of 2D top-down version of Medievil Total War.)

sonic the hedgehog is the first one i remember playing for the sega mega drive.

any one in melbourne australia that is interested in games should go to Game On at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image. It is an exhibition on the history of video games from Pong to Pokemon among many others. all of the games they have there are playable from the retro to the modern day it is a fun thing.
i went there yesterday and played lots of the games like asteroids, space invaders, mario and sonic at the olympic games, sonic the hedgehog, and some random games that i forgot the names of.

The fist game I remember really playing was Rampage on the Atari. My father played it with me. That was probably my introduction to computers.

The first console game I played was Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt at a neighbor's house, but I think that was later. My parents probably couldn't afford a Nintendo at the time it came out so the best game I had at home was Uridium. I learned some basic DOS at a very young age so I could start it myself and I've been good with computers ever since. It was a long time before I could get past Iron.

The first "computer" game I played was (I think) some Commodore 64 game which involved shooting aliens... it was kinda like Space Invaders, except the aliens were faster and more agile.

I think the first "video" game I played was one of the early Mario Bros. games.

This thread makes me feel old Embarassed

I couldn't tell you the first game I played, my mom said I was 18 months old when I started playing.

All I know is the first game I ever beat was Adventure (Atari 2600) on easy mode.

It gives you a seizure when you beat it =D

A far cry from today, where Nintendo puts a mandatory seizure warning just for booting up the console Rolling Eyes

Space Wars, which is what Asteroids is from, I played this in 1978 when it
came out at a pinball parlor in Edmonton and one called Tanks which was
on the old Atari 2600 back in 1977
