FF VII- Knights of the Round Table materia. Couldn''t have beat Ruby Weapon without it.
Kingdom Hearts 1&2- Ultima Weapon. Really hard to beat Sephiroth without it.
Final Fantasy IX- Loved collecting the cards. I liked Tetra Master better than FFVIIIs card game.
Any Legend of Zelda game- The boomerang. I don't know why, but it's one of the first things you get that's fun to use.
Star Wars Battlefront games- Rocket Pack. Shouldn't have to explain that one.
Super Mario bros. 3- Racoon suit. Shouldn't have to explain that one either.

Damn, I forgot about that. Now I miss being able to play with it since my N64 packed up Sad

My new favourite is the Beam Katana from No More Heroes, though.

Super Mario Brothers 3: Hammer Suit. Like having a fire flower only much more harsh.
The Legend of Zelda (Any): Map with compass. We would be lost otherwise.
(No, Full Restore only clears all critical status and restores all hp, not PP.)
Kirby 64: Bomb+Cutter ability=throwing stars that blow any enemy up on contact. (Except gordo and the like)
Not an item, but definitely something that is a life saver in the Pokémon series: The Pokémon center!

The laptop gun was one of the main reasons I couldn't stand playing PD's deathmatch >_< Just way too cheap...throw one and hide...there's no skill in that Rolling Eyes Nowadays when we play PD, we only do the challenges (against bots), so it's all good Cool

Ever since Goldeneye on the N64, I've liked any game that let's me use a silenced pistol, it just feels cool to use. I've actually shot a few of them, so the more realistic the game is about it, the happier I am. I really liked a PC title from a few years back called No One Lives Forever, in addition to being a sweet game it had really realistic sound effects. They actually let you use a fairly obscure WWII era weapon called a DeLisle Carbine, a bolt action rifle built from parts of other guns and almost totally silent. I was thrilled, it even sounded right. I also recently enjoyed Hit Man Blood Money, and some of the weaponry in that was pretty cool. The Walther WA2000 with suppressor and take down case was lots of fun, as was the silenced shotgun.

Also, it wasn't a video game weapon, but I loved Anton Chiguhr's cattle stun gun in No Country for Old Men, it was just so cold and creepy of a weapon. Hit Man Contracts let you use one, but it wasn't that great in the game.

Yeah, the N64 was the console for which Perfect Dark was originally made. I loved that game...

I played the demo, it was pretty cool...I'd like to try the full version sometime.

If you like stealth weaponry, you should try out Thief 2 Wink 1/Gold and 3 are okay, but nowhere near as good.
