I'm not (actually I hate working in groups), but we do them a lot in my special ed classes, anyway. _________________ http://roygerdodger721.livejournal.com |

As long as I know what's expected I'm okay. When the group leader is ambiguous I have problems. _________________ To eliminate poverty, you have to eliminate at least three things: time, the bell curve and the Pauli Exclusion Principle. Have fun. |

| I have no idea. I try to be nice, but it can be hard to contribute when everyone is trying to have the loudest voice in the group, both literally and figuratively. |

| No. I'm willing to follow along as long as we're all going the same way, but have very little patience with some people's methods. |

If I know everyone in the group, yes. If it's with complete strangers, it's very, very tricky. _________________ Life is a journey, let's ride

I always tend to end up in the 'chosen last' group with the clueless and the person, who can neither hear nor speak well (this is a problem if we can not communicate in writing). It is EXTREMELY difficult to work with these people... _________________ I am no native speaker. Please contact me, if I made grammatical mistakes in the posting above.

These days I'm okay. Mainly because I tend to get put in semi-leadership positions and have a good deal of control over what's going on.
It's much easier to work in groups when I'm the one with the road map. |

| No, I do my best work as an indivdual. It makes more sense to me if I think of ideas myself than get other peoples ideas which I may not understand what they mean. |

Am I good at working in groups? With assholes, nah. With people who are in the class because they want to be, yeah. _________________ God protects fools. Be a fool.

99% of the time, NO.
I can't stand groups. I have yet to find one where we actually succeeded and got more than sh*t done.
usually if there's groups in class I will pretend my partner is in the washroom and then do it by myself. _________________ www.freewebs.com/demandingtruth

Haha... well the simple answer is no.
The long answer is that I have a hard time getting along with people in that situation, and have little patience for others when time is short. If the group leader's doing something I don't think is the most efficient way, I usually end up impeding group progress. If I'm the leader, things either go very smoothly or not well at all - depending usually on the patience other group members have, and how much they interrupt and question my methods... Maybe that's a bit of a double-standard, but that's the way I am I guess. My methods work well as long as I can properly communicate what I'm thinking and what my method is. Also, when I'm appointed group leader, I suck terribly at it and can't communicate my method properly. When I volunteer to be group leader (only when I know exactly what I'm doing beforehand), I usually do very well at communicating and commanding the required authority - but again it depends on the members' patience for me to explain my complex methods, and their willingness to go my way. _________________ Though it may appear differently, I am wearing a monocle because I have a cat growing out of my eyeball.
