Ahhh... I miss the originals for the Sega Genisis. I never could get into gaming like I did when I had my Sega at the age of 9. Great times!! _________________ DX'ed with HFA as a child. However this was in 1987 and I am certain had I been DX'ed a few years later I would have been DX'ed with AS instead. |

Here's a shout out for Sonic CD. _________________ 'Crews were hopeful the 20m cubic litres of water could be held back and not breach the dam wall'.
And that'll be a struggle, since hyperdimensional water could breach the dam in almost any one of the five other dimensions you haven't noticed yet. |

I'm actually going to agree with you on this one. My first thought when I heard the release date for Sonic and the Secret Rings was that it simply wasn't spending enough time in development. I actually really enjoyed good ol' Sonic Adventure and I think the principles behind the 3D Sonic mechanics are very fun. Sega just really needs to spend more time working on them and getting it done right.
That and I have a few tips for them about their gratuitous attempts at frills.
Still, I think that 3D Sonic could be very fun, but they just don't seem to have pulled it off. And I think everyone's running out of patience with them. When I hear of a new Sega game my attention wanders away faster than Hyper Sonic on amphetamines. _________________ 'Crews were hopeful the 20m cubic litres of water could be held back and not breach the dam wall'.
