| I'm doing an essay on Asperger's for english. I was just wondering if any body else likes Rent. If you do, why? Does it help you with what we have? |

EVERYONE HAS AIDS! AIDS, AIDS, AIDS, AIDS! XD
Seriously, never got into it. I'm more of a "Nightmare Before Christmas" kinda guy. But if it's your thing that's cool. |

Sorry, I barely even know what 'Rent' is. I think it's a Broadway play that became a movie or something? Like I said, I'm not entirely sure. _________________ "We got the feet back!"- Ruth Cole, 'The Door in the Floor' |

I love RENT, I want to see it before it closes on broadway, but I am unable to get there. I have seen the movie adaption and its great!
I love it for the fact that the group of friends come from all walks of life, yet they do not let that or AIDS get in the way of their friendship. They hold no prejudice and do what they can to make due. It also deals with the harsh realities of life, like homelessnes, paying the rent, drug addiction and AIDS.
If everyone looked past the differences like these characters did, this world would be a better place. _________________ Humans are intelligent, but that doesn't make them smart. |

I remember one of the songs from the movie, but I haven't seen it all the way through. _________________ When you need something, that's a responsibility, that only an adult...of my maturity...Bunnies!!!

Er, I'm not a fan because I really can't stand that modern Broadway vocal style- the voices are so whiny and nasal sounding, and it doesn't take a lot of training to do. I'm not sure why anyone would find that sound attractive. Plus, the composition of the music itself is monotonous.
If you are asking about the storyline, I'm not sure why Rent in particular would help us "with what we have." I would think there are millions of other "friends from all walks of life, with a similar struggle" stories that would hit closer to home. |
