What about a story whose plot is driven by elven TV shows?

(Elves are often depicted in fantasy/sci-fi as nature lovers; the elves I depict are more like technocratic couch potatoes)

Talking about fantasy cliches, has anyone read Limyaael's fantasy rants? They are pretty fun. : D

If you want to find 3d versions of all these cliche`s, search for Poser Galleries...Wink dang it hits close to home. The ultimate cliche is a "n*ked Vickie (character model) with a sword in a temple, abbreviated as NVIATWAS...Wink

you know, if there was a literary circle devoted to this, you could create a drinking game, like those for Stargate and Star Trek...Wink

Lurv, I actually really need to thank you for that link. Seriously. As an author of dark fantasy striving to not write cliches, I've found the rants I've read so far inspirational, useful, funny, and thought provoking. Thank you so much.
