Unlike the popular belief, love is very logical. If illogical love exists or 'love from first sight' exists you wouldn't even post this thread.

I admit it is true that in the end, emotions are based off of some factors that are in some way logical. You can consider that hormones are what cause emotions.
But an emotion is...an emotion. Logical factors may apply but one can still feel an illogical passion, an illogical love.
There many successful relationships that don't seem to make any "sense".

One guy might have obvious advantages and win on a pro/con list. However, what is a good about another could be less obvious. You may feel there is just "something about" this person.

I would say give them all a chance, but in the end what is important is what you feel. Because love is a feeling. Let's say logic is to love as an apple is to an orange. Having apples does not give you oranges. Having logical reasons to be with someone does not make you love them.

So trust your feelings.

that may be a better idea, but i don't want to do that. i'm a little worried that they'd find out i publicized my situation with them and that may be embarassing.

I have three guys to choose between... I've never been in this situation before, so I don't know what to do!

one of them is shy and really sweet. He likes bugs a lot, is fascinated by little details and a lot of strange ideas. I suspect he may be an Aspie as well. I do like him, and I love hearing how he views everything, but I'm worried that things may get a bit awkward since we're both two very quiet people...

another one is EXTREMELY attractive, but I've been told that he's a bit full of himself. He's also inconsistent with his attempts to hang out with me. He'll call me Wednesday and say we should plan something on Friday night, but friday passes and he calls again Saturday. This really bothers me!

the last one is really funny, he's a male version of me pretty much, except he's really talkative! We joke around - we're both very silly, and he seems to be making a lot of attempts to hang out with me. He's just a lot of fun, and I have a really good feeling about us being friends. I'm worried though because there's a possibility that he may be a little fake (though it's too early to tell). I also know for a fact that his best friend liked me a little while ago, and I'm friends with him too, so I don't want anything to get awkward between all of us or between them.

So yeah... what should I do? I'm kind of leaning toward the last guy, but any opinions?

Second sounds like he could be a jerk, and the first sounds like a real square.
Go with number three.

I agree, that would be wrong. And since you're asking for serious advice, it's best that you just give us a personality description rather than asking who the posters here think the "hottest" is...

Don't forget to score them by using the table method.

Just draw in excel table , three columns : Guy 1, guy 2 , guy 3(already out).

and in rows: Face's Attractiveness, Body's Attractiveness, Masculinity ,Wealth,Health, Determination, Intelligence, Success,Social Status,Social Life,Talents,Romance/Sexual experience ,Niceness....etc ...you know just like comparing 2 similar products' specs side-by-side.

Very practical way indeed.

You can add other traits too, you know better but you should know the guys a bit first ...the third guys is already out so go out with both of 1 and 2 and then fill the table.

Score every trait from 0 to 10 (0 terrible -10 is excellent) and finally calculate the sum of each guy , the highest score is the alpha's score.

Update: 4th one wins.

It may be due to the fact that it's the beginning of the summer, but I haven't really heard from any of the other guys. #3 doesn't count - we've been hanging out as friends but he's definitely out.

#4 has the most strengths, he's still in the city, and a bunch of us have been hanging out a lot lately, so it's easy to see him. It doesn't hurt that we kissed, either Smile

Things may get tricky when I go back home, since it will be harder to see him without the aid of public transportation.

I'm so happy though!
