Following my suggestion to the director of diversity initiatives, we are having a regional autism spectrum conference at JCCC (in Overland Park), where I am on the faculty, in October. I am also the coordinator/organizer for a regional chapter of the Autistic Self Advocacy Network. If you are interested in one or both, let me know.

I own 28.6 acres of family land just North of Branson... Walnut Shade, Mo.

I lived in Springfield when we first came over from England (I was adopted by an American family in 1960), but other than that, I've only visited family there.

If you don't mind hacking through some brush... you all could have an Aspie campout on my land! Razz

I cannot be responsible for tick and chigger bites though!

But I did get the 'best' piece of the property.. i think so anyway.
I got the parcel farthest from the highway and with a hill and a nice view.
It has an intermittent spring on it so you may have to hike in with your own water.

Also, I'll probably sell it in the near future... it's amazing... in Missouri this 28+ acres would sell for under 200K, but here in California it would be worth at least a million dollars! Shocked
