I don't know if that's the issue so much as that aaronrey was apparently trying to recruit us to go fight in his flame-jihad. I'm not interested, and that's not really the purpose of this forum.

Well I'm not interested in getting involved either, but "shooting the messenger" like oscuria did something that bothers me to an extreme. I mean, look at it like this.
1) Islamofascist proclaims that all non-muslims should be conquered or killed
2) aaronray posts here requesting for debate backup
3) oscuria decides that aaronray, not the Islamofascist, is the one that needs to be insulted
Am I the only one who sees anything extremely wrong with this? |

I didn't bother to read the thread in question. I see a problem with (1). I also have an issue with (2) as we aren't the infantry to be called in when you want help in a debate. It's spamming and it's annoying. Frankly, if you need help in debate with an Islamofascist who wants to kill all non-Muslims, there's an issue there that you need to deal with. I don't know that oscuria read the thread we were supposed to "back up" aaronrey in, but I can assure you that I've never seen any sympathies towards Islamist extremism on the part of oscuria, More likely it was just a response to a twat who is trying to recruit WP members for his private flame army.

Stop being an idiot. There are crazy people everywhere. There are crazy people in this board. There are also people who just repeat what is in books, whether or not they believe it. They just repeat it. Then there are people who are trolls. This childish fatwa to wage jihad on that board is ridiculous and not worth my time, or anyones.
What do you think would happen? We quote him phrases by Richard Dawkins so he could suddenly see the "'light"? |
