Dreaming is the best. You can do it while you're sleeping and still enjoy it.

Vanilla sky is a Hollywood version of a Spanish film titled "Abre los Ojos" Open your eyes.
"one of the major points of the film is to “open your eyes” and dispense with your normal conception of reality. The distinction between dreams and real life blur and the result is something that is certainly surreal, a bit disturbing"
I liked the original Spanish version better, since Vanilla Sky its so hard to understand.

I enjoy dreaming. It brings me a lot of pleasure. I get a lot of creative ideas from my dreams. I'm considering carrying a small dream notebook. I can create pictures of the things that I dream about.

Dreams are fascinating. Used to keep a spiral notebook beside my bed and would sit up and write down any dream I had as soon as I opened my eyes. At first I could only recall bits and peices, but found if you make a habit of it, you'll reach a point where you can recall stories that resemble a Lord of the Rings epic, in their breadth, scope and complexity. It's like going to a cool new movie marathon everytime you go to sleep.
But wait - there's more! I also found after awhile that it's possible to experience some very interesting phenomena in the dream state that we are physically incapable of in RL. Like being in two (or more) places at the same time, interacting with two different sets of people under completely different circumstances and being able to comprehend everything that's happening in both places, including participating in two conversations in different locations simultaneously. Whew! What a concept.
I have encountered words and phrases in dreams in languages I do not know in RL, but was able to write down, sometimes in their native characters (in one case greek) on waking, then look up later.
And on several occasions there were events in dreams that did seem eerily to mirror RL things that occured later, but in my experience, nothing of any urgency, like an earthquake or the rise of Atlantis. Still, it was a cool hobby and I did it for over ten years. I highly recommend the experience.

It depends on the nature of my dream.
I don't often have nightmares but when I do, they are really horrible. I hadn't had any since I was about 8 years old but last year I started getting them again. I probably get 2 a month on average. Most of my nightmares are based around zombie themes or being chased by unidentifiable creatures in the forest. I don't know why i'm still dreaming about imaginary monsters at my age. 
I enjoy my pleasant dreams though. I often have dreams about being someone in the medical or science profession...most often, being a storm chaser or a surgeon. I also sometimes have dreams that are action-packed with running from criminals (or chasing them) or driving a car really fast and they are a lot of fun.
Sometimes...I just have very odd dreams. Once I dreamed that I was driving on a cliff that was sitting ontop of another cliff. I looked to the edge of the cliff below me and saw Jesus with gold skin jumping off the cliff into the water to kill himself. Also, I had another dream that a group of people were standing in a circle without any shoes on and their feet in playdough. I was trying to join the circle but I was too short and not strong enough to push through the other people.
Some have mentioned a dream journal. I have a note pad next to my bed so if I wake up after an interesting dream I can write it down before I forget it. Later, I will go to dreammoods.com and interpret it. It's kind of fun to know what my subconcious may be thinking, thats if, that dream interpretation site has accurate descriptions of different dreaming-themes.

did i say it is? believe it or not i didn't start drugging on crack i doubt anyone ever has. Plus i dont only use crack lol its just my primary social substance of choice still do plenty acid mushrooms and lotsa other hallucinogens. |

This is a Langston Hughes poem that I agree with about dreams.
"Hold fast to dreams
