This is probably the only non-animated sitcom I watch. _________________ When you need something, that's a responsibility, that only an adult...of my maturity...Bunnies!!!

Love it. Was watiching it yesterday, when the janitor guy built the open-air "epiphany toilet" on the roof of the hospital... _________________ Atra esterni ono thelduin un atra du evarinya du varda.

There are so many good episodes that I can't decide which one is the best.
My favorite characters are Turk and Dr. Kelso. _________________ When you need something, that's a responsibility, that only an adult...of my maturity...Bunnies!!!

I watch the episodes repeatedly-they cram in enough material so that I'll still find something new (thinking "Oh, I'd forgotten about that"-or "I didn't remember seeing that last time"). Heard an interview on Fresh Air a few years ago with one of the show's writers, Angela Nissel, she sounded clever & funny-no surprise, of course. I love how they go off on tangents of association because that's how my mind goes, too. It's hard work blending tragedy & comedy well but they do it, pretty impressive.
So many great (in my mind) moments it's tough to pick out a bunch...
Kelsoe calling Turk "Turkelton" amuses me. Elliot's bathroom & names-of-body-parts issues ("bajingo")-can really relate to those "hang-ups" myself. When J.D. says he recognizes Neil Flynn (janitor) as actor from "The Fugitive" (Harrison Ford film). Ted, the hapless lawyer & acapella/"barbershop quartet" leader-I enjoy their songs.
Like spotting people from one show on another, including those who'd previously worked together-Neil Flynn was on an episode of Drew Carey-with actress who plays Jordan on Scrubs (Kate on Drew Carey). I didn't watch Drew Carey (or Spin City) until recently (in syndicated reruns), so I didn't realize she was on that until after I'd been watching Scrubs for quite awhile.
Barry Bostwick, Alan Ruck, Richard Kind, Heather Locklear, Alexander Chaplin, Michael J. Fox of "Spin City" on different episodes of "Scrubs". Probably had creators/producers in common on both series. The "St. Elsewhere" doctors-as patients-were fun.
And so on... _________________ *"You cannot administer a wicked law impartially-it destroys everyone it touches, its violators as well as its upholders."* |

| It's the best sitcome on tv right now. I especially love Dr. Cox- when it comes to movies, sitcoms, anime and so forth, I'm always drawn to the loveable a-hole-types. He gets all the best lines. |

Had to hunt through my postings list to find this thread. In a different "Scrubs" thread, it was advanced that new episodes (the next season) would be airing on ABC (rather than NBC). Have not seen any mention of that on the ABC schedule-however, Comedy Central has advertised new episodes (at 7 & &:30 p.m. Eastern time) each night this week.
Anyone else catch these ? Admit that so far, the 2 episodes (last night) haven't been up to expected quality-not very amusing (and I dislike the inevitable birth & baby storylines). Did enjoy hearing some continuation of prior character arcs. A new intern had high voice that hurt my ears. Maybe tonight will be better. _________________ *"You cannot administer a wicked law impartially-it destroys everyone it touches, its violators as well as its upholders."* |

I love Scrubs, with a burning passion. I love the crazy mental tangents, it's completely how I think. _________________ "What a crazy random happenstance!" |

| I love Scrubs; Dr. Cox, Ted, Elliot, Turk, J.D., and the Janitor are my favorite characters. Dr. Cox is very funny; some of the funniest things he does that I like are when he calls J.D. a girl's name, when he does lectures/tangents about how annoying he thinks J.D. and Elliot are, and how much he hates Dr. Kelso. Also, I feel sorry for Ted. |
