Thought it was age Wink but maybe I do because no one (except here and on asplanet) seems to want to listen, believe or really hear what its like for us aspies.. Shocked or maybe just as NTs conversations often seem irrelevant to me - what I say to them they may dismiss what I feel is important and needs to be heard, who knows why Rolling Eyes

Fishsticks.

I tend to do so because when they don't answer it seems like they didn't understand what I said. Or maybe they just didn't care.

Yes, I will often say something and then say it again not long after saying it the first time.

I love repeating myself, and others. I don't know why. Maybe it just sounds (looks- when written) poetic. Although people have told me it is not necessary and irritable. I still like to do it. Yup yup.

I tend to do that, a lot. I often forget what I say, so I end up repeating myself.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Are you asking if I, say, repeat I story/interesting fact I told someone a week ago, or if I repeat something over and over like Jacob Two-Two? Because I do the former, but usually this is out of forgetfulness and I have friends who do it purposely, because they think the story's freaking hilarious. And, I'm embarrassed to admit, I also do the latter; particularly if the listener doesn't respond.

Often people do not listen to me anyway, they do not realize i'm there (?), because sometimes they suddenly say "oh ferdiX you're here, don't affright me this way".
So if i repeat myself, the probability rises to get heard. Wink
It has become a habit, i think.
Sometimes they hear me and then they ask why i always recur, but i never noticed a sign which showed me they were listening.
