Unfortunately, yes. My problem being that sometimes people tell me things that they assume I understand are supposed to be kept in confidence. Eventually I forget and the 'secret' slips out before I can stop it (I tend to blurt things out). This has caused me quite a few problems and cost me quiet a few friends and acquaintances over the years.

| I never dealt well with school, because if I wasn't interested in a subject, I could not make myself pay attention to it. Later, I'd also have trouble because political considerations never occurred to me, so I'd lock horns with teachers if they were wrong or didn't treat me fairly. I had no end of trouble with one of the instructors at my gunsmithing school, at least partially because I proved him wrong in front of witnesses. I'd have similar problems at work, though more with my extreme anger at being treated unfairly. I'd find creative ways of feeling better, like hiding raw chicken in the false ceiling of my former boss's office. I figured it was better than shooting him, which was plan A. This boss also stole from me, by shaving my hours in the computer. I always tracked my own hours, so I'd know when he did it. I'd always find a way to get that money back in the end, one way or the other. With my black and white view of things, it was my money in the first place, so I was entirely justified in stealing it back from a thief. I'm sure he would have though otherwise, but then again, he was a degenerate, lying thief. |

| An important aspect of my job involves keeping track of a small group of people who rotate in and out and need tons of paperwork done correctly the first time and on a very strict deadline with each persons situation being different in some subtle way. Needless to say there have been many large and expensive screw ups since I started. My boss realizes now that things have to be written down for my dumbass. |

I see that many others here, like me, get in trouble for giving back as good as they get from those who abuse their higher power in the pecking order. I believe this to be an aspie trait.

One thing I have found to be satisfying is to let a Company steamer, err I mean schemer, think they have won and then yank the rug out from under them. It makes the shitty taste of defeat even worse.  The last job I had before I went to work for the Union I had a major butthole for a boss, and the boss two tiers above him always covered his ass no matter how shitty he acted. I had a bottleneck job that only I had been doing for three years, 0% defects on my part of the pareto analysis chart for two years running. During this time I instituted minor engineering changes that were noted in my own notebook, I repeatedly told the plan/documents people to copy these changes down, they never had time. By July of 97 it was clear that Randy wanted to screw me and get me fired, to be fair to him I told him various things about himself and his family to make it clear that I hated his guts. Then in August I took a list of grievances with dates and names of witnesses direct to one of the two co owners office and I laid out the unprofessional conduct on the parts of Randy and Brett, I told Tim that I liked and respected him and that I regretted not being able to give two weeks notice and train a replacement. When I left I took my notebook and I burned it. Because I left in this manner the company lost over $10 Million in unit orders from Motorola, AMD, VLSI and others not counting future parts and tech support money within a 4 month time frame. 5 months after I left Randy was fired, 1 month later Brett was fired. In October of 98 the company was sold to some outfit called ATM 1. This is an excellent illustration of redirected aggression at work. Some things I will let go of, if I am really pissed, and don't see a means to win, I make G***amn my enemy loses as well. |

I get in trouble at work for saying what I think, being indiscreet (why are NT's so terrified of other people knowing what they are thinking?) being inflexible, throwing a wobbly when I can't get my own way, not being social enough.....
Plus, since High School I have always been in trouble for being late for everything. |

I got expelled for making a shocking pen by replacing the guts of a mechanical pencil with the igniter from an piezoelectric cigarette lighter. When you clicked the pen, it would give you a static shock. This was deemed a dangerous weapon, and I got emergency expelled out of eighth grade. It ended up being for the best though, my parents hired a lawyer and reamed the school district, and I got a 4 month vacation before they placed me in a different school.
I also got a security alert filed on me because I habitually wore a duster around the time of the Columbine incident. I'd been wearing the duster for years, and I wasn't about to change because someone wearing one did something stupid 1500 miles away. Nothing came of it, but it did kind of irritate me. I'm so happy to be done with school. |

Yeah, "Trenchcoat Mafia" became a household word for a while  I had it thrown at me quite a few times, and I didn't even wear one...it was just a green winter coat that was too big.
What is the 47 in your handle for? Excuse me for asking, it's my favorite number. |

Number of letters in my first and last names, 4 and 7. It started when I'd request a user name that was taken from a board or email service, and it would suggest adding a number onto the end. 47 was easy to remember because of it's relationship to my name. Now, its mostly just out of habit. |
