"I do not believe in the God of theology who rewards good and punishes evil. My God created laws that take care of that. His universe is not ruled by wishful thinking, but by immutable laws."

I AGREE!!!

I think that God is a mystery, so laws could possibly be a great hurdle for you my friend

My point of view on God is well expressed by San Tommaso: "The more we know about God, the more we realize he his way beyond the limits of human reason" (hope I translated it in an understandable way Wink )

The word "his" should be "is", I think.

Come i cieli sono alti al di sopra della terra,
cosė son le mie vie pių alte delle vostre vie,
e i miei pensieri pių alti dei vostri pensieri.
{Isaiah 55:9 IRL}

For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways,
and my thoughts than your thoughts.
{Isaiah 55:9 KJV}

"San" probably means Saint, so it probably isn't Stan. Like San Antonio?

So? Einstein was wrong often enough as a physicist (his actual field of expertise), why should I trust him in theology, when he had no credentials in the field? An argument from authority should at the very least be an authority universally regarded as knowledgeable in the pertinent subject... and Einstein wasn't a theologian any more than I am.

Einstein being pantheist, interesting.

It is said that Einstein's phrase "God does not play dice with the universe" was because he disagreed with the Heisenberg uncertainty principle, and I wonder when did he say that and to whom?
