THIS BOY ACTUALLY LIKES ME! NOT FOR MY BODY AND TRIVAL THINGS BUT HE LIKES ME FOR ME! HE IS SO SWEET AND WE HAVE SO MUCH IN COMMON!
Sorry about the caps. Anyways, I haven't been this happy EVER! I've been depressed since middle school and could never find someone right. I thought one person was my true love but he hurt me badly. Now, this boy just feels so right whenever I talk to him. He makes me feel so good about myself and helps me see the world in a whole new look. Life isn't just sad depressing things. We do have a meaning to live! All these wonderful things keep popping up in my mind that I never thought could over come the pain. It's true when people say love and happiness is what keeps you going. My friends and family gotten me through so much. Espically Brandi, my father, and my grandmother. My father may be dead but he is my gurdian angel and I've been strong enough to keep going till I find my happiness. There were so many times I wanted to give up but for some reason I never did. My friends and inner self told me to try agian. I think it was all worth it now. |

I remember when you posted your photo & asked if you were pretty - yes! Now I have to work on finding a bf, but my academic program is so consuming plus I'm way too shy. And no one really likes me, at all, anyway. You're bf seems perfect! My father died too but I almost do not remember him; I only mentioned this since you said yours died too. Thanks for posting - tell him to visit Wrong Planet sometime too.

This is good, but remember to make decisions with your head, not just your heart. I know it's a happy time, and I don't want to spoil that, but make sure you don't rush into any big decisions, as right now you're experiencing love hormones, which will soften into sercurity and contentness. A friend of mine decided to get married after knowing her beau (sorry, I just can't say boyfriend for a 35 year old woman) for only 1 month. It wouldn't be so bad if she didn't have a 5 year old son who has already gone through so many hardships in his tiny life. I don't want to dampen your spirits, I just want you to be careful, that's all. Because although you may be right for each other, in five years, who knows? Look back at yourself 5 years ago, and think about how different you are then and now.
It probably won't fail, and I'm not wanting you to be negative, I just want you to know both sides of the story.
I wish you and your boyfriend the best

i'm happy for you!
it is amazing what the feeling of being loved will do for you, to have that feeling of being made to feel like you matter in this world. it does wonders for depression...i know this, because recently i have experienced the same thing. unfortunately for me, it did not work out as i had hoped, and i am no longer speaking to this person...but i'm not nearly as depressed as i was. he made me see my life in another context, and for this i owe him much.
just remember all that you are feeling now. your life is worth it. every little bit of it. the love and happiness may not always be there, but you know, neither will all the depression and sadness.
i hope all works out for you guys. everyone deserves happiness.
